I happened to get the Melody doll in the mail 2 days before my daughter's 6th birthday, so I got to surprise her with her new doll on her birthday and SHE LOVES IT! She is a huge fan of Ever After High and she takes Melody with her everywhere :) The Melody doll is definitely high quality and well made, all the way down to the "tattoo" detail on her leg, her stylish clothing and shoes, funky hair and pose able body (She comes with a stand and adorable accessories as well!) The Ever After High Rebel Melody Piper Doll is modern, fun and rocking! :) Can't wait to get the rest of the Ever After High dolls to add to her collection!

Her favorite part is that the arms and legs bend more easily, allowing the doll to be sat down in a chair in the doll house. The doll's hair can withstand multiple brushes, easy to change the doll's clothes, and the doll fits in most other clothes made for other lines of dolls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll is very stylish. My daughter really likes that the clothes can be removed and very easy to take off/put on. It's a one piece and has velcro. The boots can also be removed. Almost everything can be removed- the necklace, shoes, clothes belt and headphones. I wouldn't recommend removing the necklace as it's very small and can be lost quite easily. I know because she misplaced it several times. 
 She has these cute purple streaks in her hair as well. The hair is very shiny and easy to brush. Another thing that's good is that the legs and hands, along with the arms, are very flexible. You can position her to sit and pose in many ways. She comes with a brush shaped like a key. She also has a purse, that opens, shaped like a turntable. The only thing I, personally, didn't like was the tattoo on her leg. Other Than that, Its A Cute doll. My daughter has really enjoyed playtime.

Cute and stylish doll

Melody Piper is the daughter of the Pied Piper, and she also happens to be a hip DJ with headphones and a record player purse! Plus, the doll comes with it's own stand, so she doesn't fall over. My daughter is loving this cute Rebel. I recommend for any Ever After High fan!

Great Rebel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Melody Piper is a sweet musician! My daughter, 7, loves her. We are disappointed that her outfit (shirt, vest, & skirt) is one piece (It had looked like it was designed as multiple pieces), but she is enjoying the headphones, boots, and turntable purse. Melody also wears a removable belt, bracelet, and necklace.

We've seen other shoppers add some silver paint, and we might do that, too.

Her eyes (brown in the show) are more lavender in my doll. Her hair is beautiful!

Melody also includes a bonus: a silver doll stand.

Delightful Doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters were more than giddy about receiving a new doll or "family member". They read her story loved her accessories-the stand and the purses but were slightly concerned that her hand came off and she wasn't even out of the box! We spent a good 10 minutes looking for it because it was a small piece. Once found all was well. They introduced her to the cast of other family and friends and the only other concern was her hair sheds a lot. They are the stylist and my 8 year old did not like her hair was coming out. Other than that the doll is golden.

Little Girls Are Changing Fairytales

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old really liked this doll, especially that it came with a bracelet, necklace, headphones, boom box and belt for it! She didn't like the brush because of the color (it was grey) but if that's the biggest issue, I think it's a win! The packaging was a little difficult to open. One of the dolls hands popped of while taking it out but no worries, it snapped right back on without a problem.

Fun doll to play with

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this toy for my 6.5 year old daughter. Box and packaging were very securely contained - almost too difficult to remove the doll (rubber bands, cut ties, etc). Accessories include headphones, a purse, a comb (shaped like a key) and a locket, along with a small storybook. My daughter, who is an advanced reader, read the the story once with some interest but then put it aside. She likes to play with the doll and brush her hair, and keep all the accessories handy. The doll has now ended up with all of her other dolls (Barbies) and has "moved in" to my daughter's Barbie Dream house (received Ever After doll yesterday afternoon - played with it immediately and last evening). My daughter does watch the tv series (periodically) on Netflix. She has an iPad and is currently (as I write this) in her room, watching the TV series on Netflix and brushing the doll's hair.

Good doll based on Netflix TV series
