I decided to give this Eversewn Big Starter Kit a try, as I've been wanting to learn more on sewing and crafting. It comes with 14 different pieces, which are perfect for starting out. I really like how everything comes in a storage box, it even has a handle for easy carrying. Having the box helps to keep everything organized better. The tools that come in this set are absolutely phenomenal! Very high quality sewing, and crafting tools. One of my favorites in this set is the magnetic pin catcher. It's very heavy duty, excellent quality, and works terrific! I also really like that the mat for cutting is scratch resistant. It's a decent size cutting mat, its 12×18 inches in size, and is foldable as well. The other things included in this set is, scissors, 6×12 ruler, iron vanishing pen, water erasable pen, 60 inch tape measure, sewing gauge, thread snips, seam ripper, 100 count glass head pins, rotary cutter, 10 count craft clips, and 20 count safety pens. The safety pens have little hearts on them which I really liked too. This set includes so much, which is absolutely perfect for beginners. This would also make a terrific gift for a loved one in your life that enjoys sewing and crafting. This is a great kit to have, absolutely recommend!!

Nice set for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little kit comes with everything you need plus more. I think the best products out of this kit are the erasable marker and the scoring tool. The marker actually works well and you can't even tell where your lines are afterwards. The cutter is sharp and does what it is supposed to do. Would make a great gift for a beginner to have a successful start.

Perfect starter kit

I have a brother sewing machine so it's fairly easy to work but ALL THESE THINGS make the guess work so much smoother! Who knew there were so many took to make sewing easier. Work smarter not harder right!? I love the colors, it's a teal color. The scissors are a little heavy but it works perfect for thicker fabric that I previously struggled with my other lighter scissors. The mats make measuring a breeze! I used the fabric ruler only before. The rotary cutter! I love that thing! I'm so new to sewing this makes me so excited to keep going! If your a beginner you need this kit! I promise.

Speechless!

I bought this EverSewn Starter Kit to accompany my EverSewn Sparrow 25. Everything in this kit is excellent quality and I couldn't be happier. I researched brand of the tools and they are made by Brewer, which is a subsidiary company to Bernina! I use the magnetic pin cushion with pins, ruler, and scissors with every project. It really does come with everything you'd ever need to use to complete your next sewing creation!

All of the products are of good quality. I love that there's a magnetic pushpin along with a drawer to hold them in. This set will definitely last a while. Sewing needles and thread will need to be purchased separately. Would be perfect if it came with those as well. Even a small sample size would suffice for getting started. Overall, a really great set. 8/10 would recommend.

This 14 piece kit has all necessary supplies from a cutting mat to rulers to scissors/seam rippers and pins! Each item is individually wrapped and packaged and all come in a cardboard box (with a plastic carry handle). All you need is your fabric, thread, and sewing machine! This beginner sewing kit includes so many good pieces for a beginner so we're like myself. I used to sew in elementary school and I haven't tried sense. Includes a tape measure, a seam ripper, scissors, snips, craft clips, safety pens, sewing gauge, and erasable pen, and I are in vanishing Pan, a cutting mat and a ruler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EverSewn Big Starter Kit, 14-piece is a box full of just about everything you would need to get into sewing!I would consider myself a novice in sewing, I am able to fix small tears, gloves, hats, and so on. This kit is packed with things, however with that being said it does not actually include any thread! I was puzzled to figure out how they called this a sewing starter kit and not include thread? This kit has a magnetic pin cushion with 60 pins included. 100 glass head pins, a 60" tape measure, a seam ripper, 8" scissors (which i will say are some of the nicest scissors I have every owned), thread snips, 10 count craft clips, 20 safety pins, sewing gauge, water erasable pen, iron vanishing pen, 45 mm rotary cutter, 12'18' cutting mat, and 12'x16" ruler. The box that everything comes in is also nice for storage. I do think the items in this kit are quality that I have used so far. If you are going to get this as a gift for someone I would also purchase some thread for them. I am overall happy with the kit and think it would be a great gift for someone that wants to get someone into sewing.
