Being almost every automotive battery you buy today is made either by East Penn Manufacturing, Johnson Controls or Clarios, buying one of those big brands with big advertising does not get you any better of a battery. The Walmart EverStart battery lasts just as long as any other brand for a lot less money. I've never had any problems with them. Your Wallet will thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, it's early, but other reviews seem to be positive on this battery. The battery I picked up was recently manufactured, so it's great to get a fresh battery. Be interested to see how it pans out in the long run.

Best price for a 36-month battery.  I checked several retail auto parts stores for a similar battery, and all were more expensive.  Also important is that Walmart had free installation that other stores do not offer.
So far, this battery appears to be a great deal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased an EverStart Maxx Lead Acid Automotive Battery, Group Size 24F 12 Volt, minimum ********* CCA, from Walmart.com. When I got home, I put the battery on a battery charger, and it was fully charged. I then installed it on my car and my car started stronger than ever before. This is a great Quality battery, and I give it 5 stars. The price of the battery at Walmart.com was the lowest by far in my area for the same battery. So for this I give the Price 5 stars. I am overall very satisfied with this battery from Walmart.com and I give my Overall Satisfaction 5 stars. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!

Even though the old battery was still good and the same as the one I just bought, it was more than five years old and while I live in Florida's harsh environment, batteries usually last about 4 years. I am getting ready for a long road trip and wanted to be safe with a new one. The EverStart brand is top notch!

Long lasting battery

Great battery with excellent CCA's. The only problem I had was buying one online for my son to pick up in Durango CO. They charged me online for the core but when my son offered his old batter when he picked up the new one they said they couldn't figure out how to refund the core charge ( to a credit card?). However, they were happy to keep the old battery to recycle it!!

It's works good since just used few weeks only. Fit to my car the issue I would tell for recommend is handle to lift the battery.  The handle is not design properly to retractable/foldable  property within battery itself.   They have to see this from DieHard or other design.

Overall good as of now

It's a great battery, fits perfectly. I just had no idea there was a core exchange procedure so now I have to go back and take the battery back next time I go into town so I don't live in big Rapids. I live a little ways away so it's a little inconvenient, not knowing the instructions.

Battery core instructions

Hate to do this, but the battery died and would not take a charge after less than 2 weeks.  Good thing is it has a 3 year warrantee, so we pulled the battery, got a lift to Walmart, they tested it and appologized to us for the issue, and replaced it.

Sometimes they just don't hold a charge.

Purchase this battery put it on myself the next day I tested voltage it needed recharging. I have it on a trickle charger. I purchased at Walmart. If that doesn't bring up the voltage I will be returning it. Walmart should check the voltage of their batteries before they sell them.
