Great product. This color spray for hair works great ! It covers a bald spot, or gray roots very well. It stays in place til you wash it out. Very nice product. It comes in handy between hair coloring for me. When my gray roots show, this spray covers up the roots in my part line.

I have med/dark brown thick hair that is actually more gray, truth be told. I have tried the thick crayon type that are never soft enough to rub on. I have tried the mascara type wand that does not work on longer, thick hair. I have also tried one with a sponge like applicator end. I do not like any of them.

With Gray Away it is like spraying on hair spray in just the selected spots. It has a very thin outward spray end, like what you would use to clean your keyboard with air. It makes it very easy to control the location and amount needed. My local Walmart does not carry it so I was very pleased to order it online. I live in a rural area with no other Walmart's near by. I gave the scent an average. For me it is fine. It smells similar to hair spray.

I've only used the dark brown, but would assume the other shade(s) would work equally as well.

Best Product I've Found to hide gray roots

This is the best root cover and gray cover of all. It even gives some body to the hair and hides some thinness. It's so easy to use. Part your hair, spray, and the gray is gone. It's also not messy to use. I recommend highly.

Use this in between colorings to help with all of my grays. I only wash my hair 1-2x a week so it's definitely economical. lasts through my workouts and even a little shower mist. I've stocked up.

A life saver

This is the best gray cover-up I've used so far for those times in-between colorings. I just use it on my part line. The color blends in real well with my dark brown hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this stuff . I got the the 2 large bottles for a phenomenal price of 15 dollars . It will last a long time I had a small bottle that last a long time. It sprays out will so you can control it it stays where you put it until you wash it . Highly recommend for you for a quick fix.

As I suffer from a rare auto-immune disorder that causes permanent hair loss, I was looking for a product to spray on patchy, hairless areas of my scalp to help disguise this loss. After trying at least a dozen other products, I found Gray Away works the best. It makes my hair loss much less obvious. My only other alternative is a wig but this is a way better solution.

Bear with me but please read on; you'll be glad you did! PLEASE don't waste your money & your time on this HORRIBLE product; if it sounds too good (and too easy) to be true, it is!
Gray Away root concealer is THE WORST product of it's kind that I've tried. I followed the simple directions, the spray was a BLAST & hard to control. As I was just attempting to cover my growing out gray roots on the top of my head I didn't have to use much of this product, thank goodness! It not only gets all over your hands, but it's EXTREMELY difficult to wash off of your skin. It will not only get all over your hands & be nearly impossible to scrub off, it will do the OPPOSITE on your hair! And if you attempt to comb or brush your hair, you might as well throw those away because it comes off the hair & stains your comb/brush. And don't even THINK about attempting to use a styling product, because if you use anything wet/damp like a mousse or shine product or even hairspray, this stuff will run right out of your hair & ruin everything it touches, and it STINKS. It was so bad that no sooner had I finished this HOUR LONG ORDEAL, that I had to wash my hair to get it out. I washed & scrubbed, literally with a scrub brush, my hands & nails up to 10 times to get this stuff off. Then, from drying my hands and my hair, I completely destroyed a rather expensive white towel (from a gift set). I purposely used the white towel because I figured if some of this stuff got on it I could just bleach it out, right? WRONG! I washed the towel FOUR times with bleach; first pouring bleach directly onto the towel AND adding it to the wash cycle. Then I scrubbed OXY Clean MAX 4 in 1 stain remover into it on both sides, let it sit for a day & washed it again with bleach. This stuff still wouldn't come out! So I OXY Clean scrubbed the towel again, both sides & let it sit for another day before putting it into one of those covered containers made for hand washing one or two small items, with 50/50 bleach/water solution and let that sit for an entire WEEK, while several times a day I would shake/agitate the container. The dark brown Gray Away STILL would not come off of the towel, even though, yes, I washed it TWICE more in the washer with bleach. I didn't want to give up so I made a baking soda paste & let that sit on the towel before one final attempt in the washing machine. After all this, only some of the product faded, my fancy white towel is now an ugly mud color & has been demoted to the rag pile. I may have only spent 10 bucks & tax on this stuff but in the end it cost me about $100! I literally wasted about 10 hours of my life altogether over more than a week's time, just trying to use this product once! I ruined a beautiful towel, wasted tons of water, electricity, laundry detergent, bleach, OXY Clean, baking soda, the hand washing container was stained & ruined & tossed out, a new pricey round brush styling tool & a new wide tooth comb, both stained & ruined. I meant to return this stuff but I was so angry & frustrated I set it aside and forgot about it. Now it's too late to return it to the store. BUT, according to the package, it says "if you are not completely satisfied with Gray Away's natural looking coverage return for a full refund." So it's going to be returned directly to the company after I email them a copy of this review. I SINCERELY HOPE my review/tirade stops at LEAST ONE person from buying this terrible product & going through what I did. Thanks for reading!
