I've used a few scrubs over the years and most are usually quite abrasive or the smell is ok. This one is nice. Not real abrasive and you can feel it activating on the skin. The difference afterwards is very noticeable. Just like Every Man Jack's other products, the quality is top. I won't lie. There is some burning but that's usual with this type of product. Nothing to sneeze at though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Noticeable difference after using this for my face after two weeks. Exfoliates skin very well but does not dry out too much. Does have a somewhat energetic feeling on it, hence the caffeine blend. Washes off great, I highly recommend this.

Terrific product

I've tried many times to get my dude to scrub his face more often, to help exfoliate and prevent some acne from forming. He always fell off the habit. But this has him exfoliating a lot more regularly. I'm gonna be a repeat customer. Thanks Every Man Jack!

My man LOVES IT!!!

Definitely a product that I use daily. Leaving my skin feeling refreshed and clean. The Volcanic Oil Defense Scrub removes dirt and dead skin revealing a smooth complexion. After cleaning my face with the Volcanic Clay Oil Defense Scrub, I finish off my routine with Every Man Jack Face Lotion and Post Shave Moisturizer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this line and products. Was curious to see how the face scrub worked, since I hadn't used before. The smell is fantastic and skin feels great after. I only wish it had a bit more exfoliate in it to feel that my face was getting a deeper scrub and exfoliation

Love this line and products

This face wash is great for exfoliating. I enjoy the creaminess of it which makes it very hydrating. The grit of this wash can be mildly abrasive on occasion so I wouldn't recommend this for regular use, which it is not intended for. Overall a very good product when used as needed.

Exfoliation to the Max

Really enjoying the scrub... It's one of the top two products I've ever used in terms of how it feels on my face and how it keeps my skin clear. Lots of products haven't worked that well for me, but this one keeps my skin pretty clear. A few comments:

- Make sure you buy the scrubs vs. the washes. The scrubs have little scrubbie beads, the washes don't. The containers are identical and they make most variations in both kinds, so it's really easy to buy one when you want the other. I speak from experience ;)

- The scrubs could be a bit thicker. The washes are nice and thick, but my last scrub was a little more watery than I'd like. Not a huge deal, and I feel that each container is a little different, but a note in case EMJ is reading this ;)

Love the Scrubs!

I chose the Activated Charcoal Face Scrub because I have always had issues with oil and slight acne on my face and I've found other skin care products with activated charcoal to be helpful. I was purchasing some body wash and needed a scrub at the time so figured I would try this. However, I've been very disappointed with this purchase. First, I wish I had taken the time to pay attention to the FULL ingredients list to notice this contains salicylic acid. For me, salicylic acid has always exacerbated the production of oil on my face, so I try to avoid it. Additionally, I was looking for something that was a little more "natural" as the description said. Second, the product is kind of runny and actually tends to ooze out on its own if held upright making it a bit messy. Third, I don't feel like this product does a good job of breaking down the oils or getting deeper into the pores, and with the salicylic acid, it actually slightly irritates my skin. There are other "natural" scrubs that I've used that have done a much better job leaving my skin feeling softer, cleaner, and more refreshed.
