these weight plates are fantastic some complain about smells any type of rubber like this is going to smell for a little while but it will dissipate and be gone not bad at all highly recommend!

A plus

Solid plates. I got pairs of the 45 lbs and 25 lbs bumper plates on sale. They're the most common ones I'll need for myself and my wife when we want to lift. Currently will mix in iron plates with the bumper plates as needed but as I get back into shape, I may order some more if they go on sale. I've dropped them a little bit deadlifting but only have foam under me and I am currently more afraid of chewing up my foam. I will be building a lifting platform soon for deadlifts so we can really let loose on these. 

Yes, bumper plates are expensive per pound compared to iron plates but the sale did help. I would say you get what you pay for with these. The logo and weight descriptions are all screen printed on the weights. From the pictures I thought they were grooved and painted. I have a little concern that the numbers will wear off eventually. Other than that, they will hold up for years to come.

Solid Plates for Garage Gym

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is no muss, no fuss. Cheap and durable, not the highest quality, but also for a product like this I'm more concerned about its utility

Came in on time.  However they were very oily and smelled horrible.  It has been several months now and it has taken us some time to finally get them cleaned enough that they are not slippery when we try to load them on the rack.  They would be much better if they were textured and not suck a slick finish.  However the weight is accurate.

Oily and smelly

I ordered 2x 45 lb bumper plates, Fedex did not even receive the items until the final day of the quoted delivery window and this wouldn't even have been a big deal had customer service been able to tell me anything other than "I highly suggest you wait until tomorrow" for 2 days.

Fedex finally then receives the item, delivered 3 days later, and it's two 25 pound plates... As for the quality of the plates themselves? Maybe they're great, they look nice enough.

I was so put off at that point I just asked for a refund.

I got 25lb instead 45 after waiting two weeks

1st the order shipped out late, then it was temporarily lost in transit.

Then we get the order and ITS THE WRONG ITEMS!  

We ordered 45 lb weights and they sent us 25 lb weights.
