I have 6 of these chafing dishes and have had them for almost a year. They are lighter in weight than I thought; yet quite durable. I was afraid that the gold accents would lose their color, but after using them at least six times, inside and outside in very humid weather; they still look like new. I clean and dry them thoroughly after each use and store them in their boxes and that seems to be working for me.
If you entertain, I would highly recommend these dishes. I always get compliments; folks ask if they were rented, and they give my decor that professionally catered appeal.

Loved the chafer. Not only does it look nice it performs very well. I used it for a luncheon and was very pleased with outcome. I had not used a chafer before but it performed beautifully

We enjoy entertaining. I bought one of these chafing dishes last month to use during an event, and it worked so well I've just ordered a second one to use during the holidays. I eventually may order a 3rd. This chafing dish is lightweight and much prettier and larger than other ones I've seen in this price range.

Very Nice Find

This was an early birthday gift for my girlfriend.
Every year it is so hard to think of something for her. This was one of two pieces that I gave her. She wanted Chafers for her Christmas dinner.

She was very please with this chafer and she received compliments on her arragement.

The only problem was the shipping time. It was 3 to 4 days before the item shipped. It was not available in the store so you had to purchase it on line.

Other than the shipping time, there were no other problems.

It looks great but seeing that it does not have a lid holder I was disappointed. It would have been great if it comes with hooks to put the lid as other models. No one even mentioned it in their comments. Along with this I have bought rectangular 4QT and 8QT which has got lid holders. It does makes a lot of difference when i am serving lot of items and i would need to search for a clean place to put the lids which would make it difficult.
