They are not super thick, but they definitely block out light which is going to be fantastic for the summer. I think these would be best suited for a house or apartments with long windows.

It was fairly easy to set them up on the curtain rod without help and they feel durable and like they're made out of high quality material. They really add a nice pop of color to my white room, they're also long enough to almost touch the floors. Overall a great set of curtains

Maybe too good of a job, I put my son down for a nap in his crib and I laid down for a second and I was passed out . it can be 90 degrees not a cloud in the sky ..super bright outside but the curtains filter 99% of the light making my room as dark as it would be at 10pm . very impressed! Curtains are very good quality and the velvet texture is soft and welcoming .

The velvet makes them look super nice, instead of plain. They're thin too, which is actually nice for me. They're about the same weight as her current blackout curtains. They're well made, with no stray threads or weird stitching. They do hang a bit odd with the back panels, but I ended up not using those
