Design

I read the other reviews on this---you can fix it from staying in plane form! On the bottom of it, there is a plastic arm-like extension--you have to force it into open, then closed position. It almost feels like it locks...that's when you know it's in place. The car stays together, then you can flip it into the plane again. My toddler LOVES this toy. Don't think it's defective! It's a simple fix you might have to do a few times a day, but it's worth it!

So theres a sticker on the vehicle on where to go online to see how to close the vehicle for mighty marshall. Its a pain every time to close it but for the happiness of my 3 yr old, its worth it

Wish I had read the reviews and avoided a hysterical kid who spent the last of his birthday money on a toy that was broken after less than an hour of play.

Yes I watched the video, that doesnt fix the issue of it not being able to go back into a truck. We put a rubberband around it to stay closed so at least he can play with it. 

Usually I am pretty impressed with paw patrol toys and how well they hold up. This one is 100% a disappointment.

Don't waste your money!!

I agree with the other reviews this toy has a design flaw. My son received this for his 3rd birthday and since day one it has never properly clipped shut for him to use it as a truck. I tried the other reviewers suggestion of using the clip on the bottom but it still doesn't stay shut for him to drive it around.  Super bummed.

Disappointing

My son was so excited to get this toy, but we quickly realized there was a design flaw that prevents the truck from fully closing. I found the Youtube video from the manufacturer on how to correct it, but it is not a permanent fix. I have to keep "resetting" it every time he plays with it. Very disappointed in this product!

Design Flaw

Got this for my son for his birthday today and not even an hour after we bought this the smooth switch between car to airplane quit working. Now if he wants to switch it he has to pull it apart or push it together and it makes clicking sounds. (Also it doesn't stay closed as a car no matter what now and you can't  have it just flip to a plane when it's picked up like it's supposed to. Pretty disappointing as that's the whole point of the toy.

Luckily I only paid $5 for this.  Same as everyone, hinge broke and won't go down to the truck any more. I have 2 firetrucks that I bought at Good Will so my granddaughters prefer the plane.  Bought another one that I'm giving to my granddaughter for her birthday tomorrow. For $5 I figure it's worth it.

Won't fold down.

My son received this as a gift from his grandparents.  Broke after the first our.  There is a clunking noise when you tilt it.  Will not close to stay in truck mode and doesn't switch between the two smoothly.  Avoid buying this line of paw patrol.

Flip and fly won't flip nor fly for long

I am very disappointed in this toy. My three year old was so excited to get this and after playing with it for 30 minutes it wont go back to truck I tried resetting it but it doesn't go back I agree with others it's a design flaw.

Opened it and tried take from airplane to truck and never worked.  Based on the reviews, this seems to be a trend with this toy.  Taking it back asap!
