I am 60 and have had both my hips replaced. I also have one bad knee. I love riding my bicycle but I'm not currently able until my legs get stronger. Enter the "Exerpeutic Space Saver Magnetic Upright Exercise Bike with Heart Pulse Sensors". I was able to assemble this product on my own with a little help from my husband. He had to help hold the main unit so I could get the stabilizers attached to the bottom. This product is quiet and with 8 tension settings, I was able to start slow and work my way up. In one weeks time, I got up to 20 minutes and advanced my tension to number 4. This also translates into a 2 mile ride. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to begin an exercise program and does not want to sink a ton of money into equipment. Try it. I'm sure you will like it. I LOVE mine!

First, thank you to everyone who left an assessment. Thanks to your comments I bought this bike without having tried it first. The bike is easy to ride, I did it taking all my time in 1:30, I am sure my spouse would have done it faster but I was so looking forward to pedaling. The handlebar monitor constantly gives us pedaled time, burned calories, distance and heart impulses. The bearing is extremely quiet. I am 5'5'' or 1.64 m tall and I sit comfortably in the well-padded seat. A purchase I would definitely make, I highly recommend it

SUPER TIME

I love this bike!!! I have a hard time walking, but needed to exercise. I ordered this online. It was delivered to my home, but you also had the option of store pick up.  It was a great price. I like that it folds up and out of the way when you are done. I put ours against the wall behind our front door and it is fine. Sticks out a little, but can still open and use our door. It was easy to put together. Just the pedals and a knob and raise the seat for height.  It uses 2AAA batteries. 
It has a knob for adjusting the tension while peddling. I put it on “0” for me because of back problems. I still get a good work out. My husband sets the knob to “8” which harder and a good workout for him. 
The handle bars are higher and wide, easy to hold onto. Has two metal plates on the handle bars, when you hold it there it measures your pulse.  It has a bigger padded seat which is very comfortable. There is a storage space on the frame for either a TV remote or A smaller cell phone. It has a readout panel that shows your heart rate, distance travelled, calories burned, and how long you have ridden.  It is a good looking bike. My sister tried it and she bought one. She loves hers also, uses it everyday.  We recommend this bike. It was a great bike and a good price.

Love My Bike!

This bike is amazing. I was skeptical at first because I had been looking at the big expensive nikes and thought I needed all the fancy stuff. Turns out, this is all anyone really needs. Its not about how fancy it is but the work YOU put in to it anyway. So, I gave it a try and its amazing. Very sturdy, small and doesnt take up room. Easy to put together, I did it by myself and Im 44 years old and no help from the hubby. I e been on it everyday since I got it and the weight is coming off. Great product! Give this a try before buying an expensive machine!

All you need!

Reading others reviews helped me pick this brand of bike. It is everything they said it was. Very easy to put together and gives me a nice quiet work out. I live in a small apartment so I really appreciate the ability to fold it up so as not to take up too much space.

I purchased the exercise bike for my diabetic husband. He needs to constantly walk to lower his blood sugar. So now he will ride the bike at home when the weather is too cold, rainy,icy and snowy. It was easy to assemble. and definitely easy to store, he loves it .

An excellent and compact item. A space saver

It is a nice product with a good price.
I love that I can fold this up and save my space since I have a small room.
But I only gave 3 stars, because some of inconveniences I'm having
First, installing pedal was too hard. Left side one needed to turn left to install. (all others needed to turn right to install!!) I thought I got a broken one and was about to return....luckily I accidently turned left and it went in after 2days of trying...
2nd, I can't reset my exercise tracks. It automatically turns off and turns on when I start excercise but numbers start from last. I tried a few way to see if I can reset it, but I couldn't
3rd, it's too heavy to move around often... I wish it has wheels with safety locks...
4th, since it's heavy every time I try to fold and put safety pin, it keeps sliding down... It is so annoying. The safety pin does not fit through if I fold. (it fits ok on exercising position but not on folding position)

It's ok but has some annoying problems

I was so excited! I read the reviews, and was looking forward to my workouts. I noticed (as soon as I removed the parts from the box) the derailleur, or crank had a crack in it. I thought, maybe once I put it all together, this crack will seal up. So, put it together I did. The crack did not close up once every screw was tightened. I rated a fair, because you can't judge a broken product; except to say it's broken. I will say this.... The frame and stand of this bike appears to be quite firm. Therefore, I am sending it back in exchange for another. The box it came in, on one end had a smashed in corner. I know it could not have come from the factory in said condition, so one must look to the Shipping Co. In any case, I look forward to receiving my new and unbroken Exercise Bike. I believe the value of it, for it, is worth it.
If it met my expectations?.... I will come back and rate it when I know.

Product exceeds expectations?..

I do NOT recommend this item, as I purchased it based on everyone's provided feedback.  I thought I'd be happy until the item arrived, with cracked housing. Attempted to email and call the manufacturer as per the instructions, but received no call back or reply.  Ended up returning the item today.  Don't waste your time!

Arrived broken & manufacturer was non-responsive

This stationary bicycle was sent to my home and arrived broken in the box! So my review is negative. It was poorly packaged and a large plastic part was broken in two pieces! And no wonder, everything was just "floating" in the box! No bubble wrap, nothing. We had to pick up that heavy box and haul it to Walmart to have it refunded. Waste of money and waste of time and energy. Poor packaging--poor review!
