Can be robust and tight-fitting, but also prone to inconsistencies.

Setup process is fast and requires minimal effort.

This was waaaaay better than spending fifty bucks on a new hose. My old sprayer was stuck on. I couldn't get it off for the life of me and had to cut my hose. So I decided to try and repair it. Not sure why but mine leaks and sprays a little where it is attached. Maybe I need to re-seat it. You also have to be careful to not get cut by the clamp. I have gotten injured by them in the past when watering. I think a little duct tape on the end of that sharp clamp and you would be good to go. For now this little gadget saved me fifty bucks and it works good enough! My hose is functional, not perfect, but functional. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend.

i have two expensive hoses that have sprayers attached that quit working and cannot be removed!  with these I can just cut off the end and create a " new hose" !

Was convenient to replace old fitting it slipped right in. No leaks. Great value for the money.

Great fix

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to use and made the repair to my garden hose perfect.

It was overpriced and did not come with a rubber gasket for fitting.

A bit too expensive

Will work to just let water come out but will not hold water once you connect anything to it.  I connected an ortho sprayer to it and while using it started to leak and shoot water everywhere.  I just hope it was just water and not chemical mixed with water that I got on my face due to this useless item!

Useless!

seals to the hose just fine, but is so poorly threaded that,even with teflon tape and a double washer, won't seal with any spray nozzle without spewing water everywhere.   Garbage!
