Can be strong for basic tasks, but may be weak for demanding uses.

Allows for continuous spraying with a constant on tab.

I'm replacing one I used for years. The new one works so good.

Water Hose Spray Nozzle

walmart.com

This is an old-fashioned all-metal garden hose nozzle that looks like one from the 60's and 70's. The spray pattern goes from narrow to wide but it depends on how far you squeeze the trigger. Once you select the pattern you want, you must hold the trigger in that position or the water will stop.

Solid sprayer made of metal and works good.

I like it because I'm an elderly lady with weakness in my right hand (medical condition).....so this cute little nozzle DOES THE TRICK!!! Just the right size and the "trigger" is just right for this little old lady. (SMILE)

JUST RIGHT for little old lady!

These have been my favorite for over 30 years. Just don't leave them sitting in water! That will cause the few parts that can rust Rust, and the oil in the spring handle to not spring! Other than that they are the BEST! They last for 5-10 years if you just don't leave them sitting in water. Spray WD40 if it gets stuck after several years they'll work like new. Love it!

Garden hose spray nozzle

I needed a simple hose nozzle for my short hose

Hose Nozzle

I thought it was a good value until I saw that you have to put your own spray nozzle on it. The style of the handle was great. It fit my hand perfectly but if I have to buy my own spray nozzle, then it's not worth it to me

Simple design is what I wanted and it had that. Reminded me of one I had years ago, BUT that one was made with ALL METAL PARTS and lasted years %26 years. This one is not made of ALL metal parts, so don't let the silver color fool you. I compared the prices of hose spray attachments in summer of 2025 and the cost was CRAZY HIGH and even with all the bells %26 whistles, they were made of plastic too, so I opted for this less expensive version. I am still okay with that because I'm not out $30 in a year for 1 spray head. So, just be aware this is not made of all metal %26 you'll probably need a new one in 2 years, but you're still ahead in $$.

Inexpensive, 1 summer use, maybe 2.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Expert Gardener Metal Pistol Nozzle is a basic hose nozzle. I liked the simplicity of use; the nozzle has limited controls. The Expert Gardener Metal Pistol Nozzle effectively controls the water flow. The water spray is fixed at moderately wide angle that meets most gardening needs. The Pistol Nozzle has one significant design defect. That design defect is the handle design. Along the front edge of the handle there are protrusions placed to accommodate your fingers. When you hold the handle during watering this thin protrusion cuts into your fingers and quickly becomes uncomfortable. The Expert Gardener Metal Pistol Nozzle is a useful tool for your garden watering but, uncomfortable to use. This uncomfortable situation leads me not to recommend this Expert Gardener Metal Pistol Nozzle.

Sprays Alright, but the Handle Needs Work

Expert Gardener Metal Pistol Watering Nozzle cast metal pistol-style garden hose nozzle with ergonomic rear-trigger flow control and twist flow-adjuster; adjustable tip with four large openings for full flow, spray patterns from wide cone to powerful jet, threaded end for accessories, 4 x 1.1 x 1.1 in, 0.29 lb; suitable for garden watering or washing cars.
