When I put batteries into the pigeon and it started cooing, I didn't know if I could concentrate on the game with all the noise. A few minutes later we were all laughing so hard that we could barely hear the pigeon! This fast paced game is so easy to learn, and if you make mistakes it just makes it funnier. Exploding Pigeon is the classic hot potato game with the addition of charades, Pictionary, rock paper scissors, and so much more! Your team must race to guess the word and pass the pigeon before it explodes. After the first two games we added this to our “must play” family game night stack. Super fun for all ages, I highly recommend this one!

Hilariously Fun!

Exploding Kittens

Had a fun time trying out this new game from exploding kittens. Reminded me of a mix of taboo, catch phrase, and perfection. I played with 3 players and we had a good time facing off against each other. The paper, rock, scissor battles were intense! I can't wait to try this game out with a larger group! This game will be added to the party pile.

Fun and quick game

This game was really fun to play at the beach and it was a fun party game without too many components. The speaker on the toy keeps things exciting and the pigeon feels solid so I'm not afraid of dropping it if it falls. I would imagine kids would have a lot of fun with this game as well.

Worth it!

Exploding Pigeon is an amazing family game night game that leads to a lot of laughing and excitement. Trying to get the pigeon passed to the other team before it explodes, with the hilarious actions, made the game energetic, fast paced, and a hit with the family... particularly with the younger players. I would highly recommend this game to any group who likes energetic and engaging games.

Family fun

We pulled this game out and played during our 4th of July BBQ, and had a lot of fun. The gameplay felt fast, so people could drop in and out of rounds without too much issue. People not familiar with "Exploding Kittens" had a hard time understanding why the Pigeon would be exploding, but luckily that didn't factor in to the enjoyment!The only thing we didn't love was the "reroll" side of the dice, it felt like all it did was frustrate people (which is likely the point!). But the intense countdown to an unknown, random timer led to everyone having a good time. I would not recommend this as the center of your game night, but a good game to pull out before/between other games!

Fast And Furious Family Fun

Exploding Pigeon is kind of like Hot Potato—there's a timer involved and that same frantic, pass-it-before-it's-too-late energy—but with a lot more going on. Depending on what you roll, you might end up drawing something, acting it out charades-style, giving a one-word clue, or doing something else entirely. It adds this extra layer of pressure that reminded me of playing Perfection as a kid—fun, but with just enough stress to keep everyone yelling and laughing.I played with a group of seven people, split into two teams. Ages ranged from 12 to 48, and every single person had an absolute blast. It's one of those games where you're all cracking up in the middle of the chaos, whether you're the one fumbling through a round or just watching someone else try to beat the clock.My one complaint is that if you accidentally slam or shake it too hard, the timer will just quit so you have to restart it. It's fast-paced and absolutely ridiculous in the best way. If you're looking for a party game, I highly recommend Exploding Pigeon. This might be my favorite out of all the EK games.

Frantic Fun for All Ages!

Exploding Pigeon is a fantastic family party game. It brings the chaos that Exploding Kittens is known for in another quick and easy to learn party game, but this time with fewer Kittens being exploded. The pigeon/dice roller/timer/hot potato is adorable makes it easier to set up. There's a ton of variety in the challenges making this very replaceable for such a small package. We had far more fun than we would have expected fist bumping with our wings as well. You may need to give a bit of space while playing this game to avoid accidental wing flapping.My 5 year old saw it and wanted to play, but while he is still learning to read we had to tweak some rules a little for his turns. He still had a lot of fun, so it's definitely going in the regular rotation for both our game nights and our family game nights.

Step Aside Kittens, It's Time For Exploding Pigeons.

The Good:- Simple Game of Hot Potato + Charades/Pictionary- The mini guides provided give all the players a quick refresher of the tasks that need to be done before passing the chicken-The pigeon sounds hilarious -Being able to draw on the pigeon is cool The Bad:-The QR code link for the tutorial on the exterior of the box and inside the guides both lead to a "404 page not found"-Playing with only 3 players isn't as fun, I think the ideal number would be at least 6-8 -The batteries for the pigeon were not pre-installed & you need a tiny screwdriver and 2 AAA batteries (which not everyone has on hand easily)- There's no volume adjustment for the pigeon sounds - I wish there was a better way to randomize the diceroll. It's a little too easy for people to do a "reroll" of the same result.
