These are great! I bought two for me and 3 for my boyfriend.  My boyfriend has diabetes and all the conditions that come along with that.  He has 11 different oral medications that he takes.  Most are just once a day but a few are twice a day and a couple are three times a day.  These pill boxes are indispensable! I sort all his pills for a month using two large ones for morning and night pills and the smaller organizer for the afternoon when he takes just a couple.  He takes the small/afternoon organizer with him to work.  We've traveled in the past, before we got these organizers, and had to put rubber bands around our pill boxes AND put them in a zip lock bag just in case.  Even at home sometimes a lid wouldn't get fully closed and pills would get spilled and I'd have to sit down for 15 minutes to get all the right pills back in the right compartments.  With these organizers you never have to worry about a compartment coming open, losing medication (to be lapped up by some poor unsuspecting dog or God forbid, child) or of having some curious grandchild getting into your medications.  We fly now with no worries about our medications coming open and being everywhere in our luggage.  I never have to resort pills because they've been spilled.  The compartments are completely clear so you can see exactly what's inside.  The compartments are large enough for the amount of pills that would choke a horse (like the quantity my boyfriend has to take) and they close securely so they don't accidentally come open and can't be opened by little ones.  I don't normally rave about or endorse products but this one is worthy.

exactly what i was looking for!

Having worked in the medical field I recommend this. It is easy to fill. It is good for a week. And it is very easy to tell if you missed a dose

Nice pill box

It is smaller than I expected.  However, the plastic seems durable. I wish it is cheaper so I can buy more to cover a month supply.

partially satisfied

My father had a smaller sliding lid compartment that he really liked but his medication no longer fit.  This is the only one I could find and after filling it for him thought it would be good but discovered a major flaw.  The old container was solid plastic with fully walled compartments. This one has a very thin tray that can be slid out from the side.  When the door is slid back, it leaves a gap on the edge of the first (morning) compartment and since you can only dump the pills in that direction smaller pills go over the compartment edge and into the body of the holder. The very first time my father used it he told me I left one of his pills out which I knew couldn't be true.  I actually found two inside the tray body that had come out of compartments.  It was actually probably his most important heart medication so we're blessed that at 89 he still is sharp and checks his medicine.  For that reason this thing is a big "do not buy" unless you will only use it for pills at least a quarter inch thick to prevent loss.

Major design flaw

Could not open the sliding day compartments at all. Got it cuz it looked easy to open. Trashed it.

Can't open

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a case that allowed me to fill it easily. The inner "tray" is made of VERY FLIMSY material, and once the entire case is put back together, pills can easily "jump" from one day/time slot to another (or just to the inside of the hard case) when you empty the desired slot.  Also, getting the last dose of the day out of the container was hard as the slider doesn't retract fully out of the way. I threw it away and bought something else.

Poor inner tray construction - pills jump ship!
