I got these on my 07 Honda Crv then on my 2012 chevy traverse. I actually went looking for these exact tires when I bought my used traverse. I loved them on my crv, so I was hoping they'd be available for my traverse. I drive in snow in PGH a lot so I need good tires. Now, I don't go 60mph in deep snow, I take it easy, but these tires have gotten me through some pretty bad road conditions.

I am originally from the south and therefore purchased a FWD vehicle since we don't encounter snow on a regular basis. Forward a year and we were transferred up North. Well our first snow happened and I skid and slid all over the place with my OME/stock tires! I called my husband crying hysterically thinking I'd have to trade in my car (that I LOVE) for an AWD car just to keep my three kids and I safe in the car. I started searching around for snow tires (YouTube, internet, etc) about "snow tires". My husband made the call to our local tire shop and they HIGHLY recommended these tires. Well let me tell you, we have gotten snow/ice and my vehicle has driven wonderfully, minimal to no slippage, great stopping and turning! I now feel safe and most importantly get to keep my Lexus until I want to get rid of it. I love these so much and would highly recommend giving these a try. We will now put these on my husband's 2018 Toyota Camry as well since his car is FWD also.

Peace of Mind!

We didn't realize how bad the shape of our previous tires were until we switched. The new tires have been working great in all weather. Times when we thought we would have issues due to icy roads, the tires worked excellent and we didn't skid and the anti breaks lock did not come on.

We are so happy with these tires

After reading all of the reviews, I decided to have these installed on my Honda Civic in time for winter. Winter came early today in NJ. I got to drive them in in a snowstorm (about 3 inches at the time) on mostly unplowed roads. I am very impressed - traction and handling was great despite the conditions. They navigated some ugly roads today with relative ease and gripped like snow tires. These tires definitely live up to the positive reviews. I have to drive in the snow again tomorrow and now I don't dread it with these tires. If you can't spare the extra $ for a dedicated set of snow tires, please consider buying a set of these. They are worth the money and the traction can't be beat for an all-season tire.

Best all-season tire for ALL conditions

I have a 2013 Subaru Impreza. I've put about 1500 miles on the tires. In this review I'll be generally comparing these to the OEM tires. Which were awful. Loud. No grip. Poor tread wear. These tires are a breath of fresh air. So much quieter. So much more grip. In the dry and in the rain. Confidence inspiring. At only 1500 miles, it's too early to gauge tread wear. My only gripe, which is likely because of the dramatic increase in grip, I've lost about 2 to 3 mpg. But it's worth it. Bottom line, an all around very good touring all season tire.

A vast improvement

I put WeatherReady Assurance on my 5 year old Honda CRV. My existing tires were a competitors M&S tire nearing the end of their life (~1/8" tread left) and I was slip-sliding around when driving on snowy or icy roads. We chose these tires over a winter only tire as Denver, CO has variable winter conditions - one day 20F and snowing, next day 60F and sunny). I got these put on and what a difference! Excellent traction on snow and ice! It was very noticeable how much better these tires gripped the road vs my previous tires. We've driven around now for about 3 weeks on them and love them, no complaints. I haven't noticed any louder tire noise or any adverse handling. Already recommended them to family.

Excellent tire for variable winter conditions

I purchased two sets for the family. A sedan driven in GA and a minivan in MI. Both drivers state the handling in wet weather and dry pavement is wonderful. Comfortable ride with NO ROAD NOISE. Have not faced the winter elements yet. Looking forward to comparisons against the old Triple tread (which was my favorite tire)

Best Option fro All Season Tire

I had been Hypermiling with a competitors high fuel economy tire. That fuel economy tire, even when new, required substantially longer stopping distances, especially on snow or wet pavement. Handling had been "OK" at best. The Assurance WeatherReady tire has given me the best handling that I have ever had in all my years of driving. I can't wait until the snow flies to see how it performs, especially in slippery stops on snow-covered Ohio exit ramps. . There is no free lunch however- My MPG has declined as a result of my switch to this tire.I am OK with that. My thinking is that I can save some nickels somewhere else in my life, When I am behind the wheel, I need Assurance that my car will hold the road, stay in control, and stop when I need it to. Overall- Great tire! I get the trade off between performance in difficult conditions and MPG. Glad I bought Goodyear

Great tire! Best handling ever- at expense of MPG

My 2018 Audi SQ5 came with 21" summer performance tires. Perrelli PZero summer tires. The first snow had us sliding all over the place even with Audi's Quatro system. Stopping was very difficult and needed advanced slowing down to make sure we would stop. The traction control working feverishly to prevent lockup and sliding. I went online looking for a pure winter tire when I stumbled on these Weather Ready tires from Good Year. They are designed to be driven all year round and have an actual "winter" rating, unlike "All weather" tires that are just so so in the snow. The next storm was upon us soon after I got these. The difference is dramatic. Stopping was no problem, even though spirited driving can produce sliding, the feeling of security was very reassuring. The driving feel was a little, for lack of words, a little "Truck" like, compared to the Pirrelli's. Totally acceptable though. Now you only need one set of wheels year round. 65,000 Mile warranty as well!

New hybrid tire from Good Year

Had for a month. So far great traction in heavy rain and no hydroplane noticed. Slight hum and vibration at 80 mph but not to annoying to complain. Look forward to the Midwest blizzards to test snow traction in the coming months. I will update my review after winter

Great on my 17 fusion FWD

I have a 2015 Honda Accord and the tires I had were down to 4/32 of a inch so I wanted to replace then with new tires. I have always bought Goodyear tires before. In October I purchased a 4 Weather ready tires. But these Tires make so much noise my 89 year old mother who is hard of hearing even stated how noisy they are. If I did not pay so much I would buy new tires to replace them.

Makes my car sound like a truck
