I was skeptical about using this grass seed seeing as the temperatures here can get warm during the day in April  and May and possibly due to zero at night . It could even snow. I tried this grass seed nearer to the end of April and within a couple of weeks noticed a difference in my lawn . It germinated easily in our temperatures . Love it

We used it on heavily on spots where our young son's soccer cleats completely destroyed the grass. We also used it on other patchy spots. In about two weeks, we saw visible improvement in the bare spots. At 6 weeks, our lawn is completely lush and healthy. Looks amazing.

It works! and Quickly too!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My lawn had terrible chafer beetle damage over the fall and winter. In previous years I spent hundreds on gardeners to repair the lawn. This year I got a sample of PRO-MIX Ultimate All Condition Grass Seed and tried to do the repairs myself. I used the seed with the PRO-MIX fertilizer. It was easy to use and although it took a little longer for the new grass to appear, it has filled in amazingly well since it sprouted. You would never know that the lawn was damaged and it is only 6 weeks later. The grass is lush, green, thick and beautiful. It looks very healthy and had been a major improvement from what I have seen in the past from other products.

I have a beautiful lawn - Thanks Pro-Mix

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First of all I prepared my existing lawn by removing the moss, which is a big problem in British Columbia. I then purchased a triple mix soil and mixed in Pro Mix Ultimate All Condition Grass Seed. I them spread the soil and seed mixture evenly over the test area and then topped it off with more seed and finally evenly spread the Pro Mix Premium Heel & Feed Lawn Fertilizer. I faithfully watered the test area several times a day so the seedlings would not dry out. It was exactly seven days and the seeds had started growing. Within 18 days I was cutting the test area grass. I had a few spots that needed touching up and repeated the above process and I now have a full lush beautiful grassed test area. I will definitely be purchasing more Pro Mix Seed and Fertilizer to improve the remainder of my property.

We just have a small amount of grass, but recently we had to dig up a portion of our front lawn to repair a sewer pipe.  My husband re-seeded the area using whatever grass seed he had in the shed.  It came in, but sparingly.  When we received our bag of Pro Mix, we immediately seeded the area that had been re-seeded and within 2 weeks the grass came in thicker and greener than what was there.  We used the rest of the bag on the rest of the lawn and can really see a difference!  Even my husband agreed that Pro Mix is better than the usual grass seed he has bought in the past.

We have a section that is very damp & in the shade all the time & the rest is in the sun all the time. the grass seeds grew well in both areas of the lawn even with all the crazy rain & then the unusual heat we had for this time of the year. My lawn is definitely thicker & greener because of the grass seed & fertilizer.

We placed a thick layer of soil down and spread the Pro Mix seed generous layer of seed mixed into the soil.   With the ultimate growing weather of sun / rain alternating daily the seeds sprouted easily.

Gets the job done

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The grass seed did start to show results of growth fairly rapidly. My whole front yard was done with this, the boulevard was reseeded over some grass. The boulevard now looks thick and healthy. The rest of the front yard was fully redone. It is looking good, needed to go back and reseed areas. Since it is a blend of grasses some of the seeds grew better than the others. It grew well in the sun areas as well as the shade areas. I look forward to seeing how it holds out over the summer. The pro-mix fertilizer was also applied to give the seeds a healthy start.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was disappointed with this grass seed. Maybe some of it sprouted but I think most of it didn't. The lawn did get green and thicker, but I believe that was due to the Pro-Mix Fertilizer, which I did like very much. I kept checking and could still see the seed lying there after several weeks.

Grass seed was a disappointment

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The product did not work; the seed didn't germinate. I love Pro-Mix products and although conditions were prefect for repairing our grass and we prepared the area well none of the seed took. We aerated, power raked, top dressed and weather condiotns were low of 10 high of 17 degrees celcius. After 2 weeks there was still no germinated seed. The result was very unfortunate as Pro-Mix is our preferred brand for other gardening products.
