Handle's rubber grip can be difficult to hold.

Pleas attention, if you want use the extension for SUV it must be under 2.5 ton! It means it is good for sedans and crossover vehicles not a heavy SUV . If you have SUV , looking for 4ton Jack! So I just use it for sedan car and there is no leaking with any problems and works great!

This is the third jack of this type that I've owned in the past 10 years. The first one died. The second one is getting up there in age and is on its way out, so I went ahead and got a new one. What I really like about these is the jacking height that you can get to fairly safely. I have other more expensive jacks that require a block of wood to do what this jack can do. A block of wood is not safe but I'm not the only one known to use one. What I don't like is that they are not very durable jacks. If you have a shop, you will wear these things out in less than a week. If you are a weekend warrior who  uses it just a few times a year, then this will go a few years before needing to be replaced. I have looked for a more durable equivalent and have not been able to find it, but for less than $250 over what will be 10-15 years of use, it all comes out in the wash. 

HOWEVER, PLEASE DO NOT GET UNDER A CAR WITH ONLY A JACK--ESPECIALLY THIS JACK--HOLDING IT UP. 

Please use jackstands!!!!

Good for the Price

I bought the Torin Jack 3 Ton SUV Jack for my husband. He really like it. It's easy to use. When he picked it up out of my car to put it in his truck or trailer, he cradled it like a baby! LOL!

Help! My husband needs a reliable jack!

Jack works great! Packaging leaves a lot to be desired!!!!!!  Box was in tatters and had to contact Torin to get the missing extension for the suv part!!!! Did not want to risk getting another busted up box missing parts!

Terrible packaging

needed a 3 ton for my truck, and my brother came to my rescue with this jack, and it was a breeze lifting my vehicle .the height adapter was very useful.so i purchased one for myself.

gets the job done

All I needed was for it to lift my suv high enough to put the jack stands under, and that's what it did. My previous jack, a Duralast 2.5 ton jack couldn't do it.

Did what it was supposed to do.

The jack is not very well made. The handle is loose and when jacking up car easily slips out even if its locked in. Also to release it. It is sometimes too hard to do with handle because of the plastic/rubber on end for grip just circles around so i have to use a wrench to lower jack.

Two issues:  First, the lifting speed is painfuly slow.  It takes 30 pumps to get up to full height.  Second, it seems like quite a few customers return the jack (as I am doing) because mine came in a previously-opened package and was missing the saddle piece.  I suppose it will lift, so it merits 2 stars for that.

Not a satisfying purchase.

the reason I buy this is for the extension makes it tall enough to get my Tahoe with 20 inch rims off the ground. unfortunately this is the second one that Ive had that leaks. this one started leaking hydraulic fluid less than a month old

This jack is VERY unsafe, to lower the jack you have to twist a little knob and not the stick, like you normally would. When i tried lowering the jack with the car on top, i twisted the little thing and it slammed down, THANK GOD i had jackstands already set because if i hadnt, the car wouldve slammed on top of me.
