He cannot build anything substantial at this time, but loves stacking them. I would recommend for any 2 year old. I believe the box recommends children over 3.

I have tried to break or dent them and they have held up beautifully. The quality is apparent immediately. The fun shapes have inspired a lot of creative building activity. I have been very pleasantly surprised at how much we use these blocks to play with throughout the day. I can't wait to get more to add on to our set!

She has been busy building different towers, castles and then having fun knocking them down as well. The toy is of good quality and I will high recommend it. It definitely promotes creativity. I have a 9 year old too and it's fun to see both the girls building castle and playing with it with their little princess toys.

He spent hours building castles, cars, trains and houses with these very creative books. I would recommend these blocks whole-heartedly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We already have multiple types of blocks, including wooden blocks, and most of the time the wooden blocks just sit on the shelf, so I was a little hesitant to get these castle blocks for our 2 and 4 year old. They LOVE these castle blocks. There are a ton of different shapes and the little fake windows on some of the blocks just adds a whole new level of looks. It comes with an instruction sheet if they want to build the castle that's shown on the box but both kids just build whatever they want most of the time. The blocks aren't too heavy and are unfinished so I guess if you wanted to paint them you could do that but we like them the way they came. Great for creative play!
