This is a repeat purchase for me and found the first one very useful. Most important, I assembled it easily without help. However, the latest purchase had a defective metal connector. I went to Walmart but it was not in stock. Have ordered it. will need a plier to extract the stuck connector. I hope to receive delivery soon.

Do not buy this item if you actually need it to hold the weight as described. 
It will not, very poor quality shelves that bend easily, very dissatisfied. 
Still waiting on my refund.
