Our System F2 AKL access door has a removable panel that comprises a welded aluminum frame, concealed touch latches and a 5/8” (15.9mm) drywall inlay. For easy opening and closing, our F2 panels come standard with pressure-sensitive touch latches and in addition a variety of locks can be added to the panel for additional security. The perimeter of the access door has a specially developed brush seal to help make the door air and dust resistant. For all access door sizes over 12? (305mm) our panels are equipped with one or more safety cables to prevent the unexpected opening of the panel. Once installed and finished the panel is virtually invisible as the touch latches, and hinges are hidden on the backside of the panel. A reveal of 1/16? (1.59mm) is visible between the frame and the access door.
