I have an air care humidifier. I get new water wicks every year. These work great. They fit perfectly.

Just what I wanted

Good to see a mastic now secures a wet heavy filter element to its frame. Hopefully that upgrade will prevent a heavy wet filter in use from falling out of its frame well before its replacement time.

Good news

AIRCARE

The best thing about these air filters is that they fit exactly and work in our Essick Humidifier.

Essick's filter set-up is nothing special--paper-like filter material that tends to come unglued from frame and cannot be cleaned.

They're worth it because the humidifier's great.  Even worth the new higher price.

The standard thing you need

I have been using your humidifier and the wicks for many years and have always been quite satisfied.  The wicks this year started coming unglued half way through the heating season, Fortunately, I was able to hold them together with rubber bands and make it through the season.  Hopefully, the ones I just bought were made a little better.

Humidifier wicks

We're using these wicks in a new Essick humidifier and they are not working well. Same water we've always used, same location in the house, but we can't get the humidity above 25% and it often falls below 20%. Very disappointing.

Water only goes halfway up the wick. Doesn't do a very good job providing humidity.
