The new Final Fantasy XVI is a visual feast! I really enjoyed the immersive storyline. While it took a slightly different path from the other versions, the game's blend of classic Final Fantasy charm and newer elements had me hooked.

Fantastical world

This game is not as open world as the one with the 4 guys and the car but it does get better the more you play it.  I do love the dodge amulet etc as it would be one tough game to play without it.  Overall a game you could play again and again.

Pretty Good Game

One of my favourite final fantasy games ever!  Over hundreds of hours of gameplay and super realistic graphics.  Square delivers again in the final fantasy series!!

Excellent game!

Excellent game for both veterans and newcomers to Final Fantasy. The plot is fantastic, and the visuals are stunning, but be prepared for some tough fight sequences.

I have pulled a Crosby rookie class Review

This game has amazing graphics.  There is reliable and familiar game play with the relatable and changing story line dependable with this games history.

Amazing Graphics

Pretty polished, sounds amazing and looks really nice. Story pacing is on the slower end, and the narrative is complex and even convoluted at times, but I still find it enjoyable. My only complaint is that the game spends too long holding your hand and not letting players solve their own problems.

Oddly Paced, But Grandiose

I recently played Square Enix's Final Fantasy XVI on the PS5, and my experience falls somewhere in the middle. The graphics and visuals are undeniably stunning, showcasing the power of the PS5, and the narrative elements of the game are intriguing, keeping me engaged throughout.

However, I found certain aspects a bit lacking. The combat system, while functional, didn't quite meet the expectations I had based on previous Final Fantasy titles. It felt somewhat clunky and took some time to get used to. Additionally, I encountered a few bugs that, while not game-breaking, were a bit frustrating and interrupted the immersion.

The storyline has potential, but it left me with some unanswered questions, and I hope subsequent updates or releases will provide more clarity. Overall, Final Fantasy XVI has its strengths, but there's room for improvement, particularly in the gameplay mechanics and bug resolution. A solid three-star rating from my perspective.
