Power is supplied by our Max Pro Series 389cc Firman engine which runs cool and efficient thanks to its Phoenix Fat Head Block. Our Whisper Series muffler keeps the P05703 running a quiet 72 decibels – well below the standards set by the National Parks Service, and our spark arrester has been approved by the USDA Forest Service. The industry-leading 8-gallon fuel capacity provides a whopping 14 hours of run time. Starting is as simple as the push of a button on the remote start key fob from up to 168 feet away. The Firman Volt Lock automatic voltage regulator ensures clean, consistent power output from the Firman Power Stream alternator. Remote

Really pleased with how it well provides reliable, stable power for hours on end. It's been the main source of power at our construction site for over a year and a half, and has been a workhorse day in and day out through every season. Moreover, it flashes up on the first pull every time. And when I needed to replace the pull cord mechanism, customer service was excellent with no-hassle warranty coverage and immediate processing. Highly recommended. Only recommendations for improvement would be (1) employ larger, softer wheels for easier mobility, as it's pretty heavy when lugging around a rough construction site and (2) strive to reduce the loudness where possible; even though it's among the quietest gensets around I always wear earplugs to protect my hearing.

This generator comes as advertised, easy set up, quality product. Remote start is a bonus, this generator is quiet in comparison to many others on the market. The aggressive price point, knowing Firman's history building generators for other well known companies makes sense to look at this product.

Excellent Generator

Easy to assemble, started right away. Only used it without problem for 5 hours, since i bought it (2 months), to feed one freezer two fridge and one TV.

Great generator

This generator performed as expected. It is a little quieter than the Briggs&Staten unit that it replaced. The remote is awesome, although it didn't want to start on a couple of cold mornings.

Great product

[Employee of walmartcanada] Used the remote to start it for the first time. It turned over twice then varoom, off it went. It ran nice and smooth for the duration of the test. I have confidence in this machine that it will meet my needs.

I bought this to due to power outages in my area. It more than meets my needs

Appears to be what I need, Bought for power outage

Since it is an emergency generator for my house, I only tested it once. The remote control is a great idea and work well at the advertised distance, even through a wall!! It is however a bit noisier than expected. It suffered some very light damage from the delivery, but it seems like a good product to buy . Have to see on the long distance if it really is.

This product is used for both household & work purposes, For those out there that do not have this unit STEP UP & get one.

In a heart beat..

We're on a well so when the power is out we can drive our pump. Also planning an off grid cottage so we'll need back up power to charge batteries.

Solid, well built machine.

This product was purchased for a new project which is "On Hold" as a result of Covid-19. Thus while the product has been unpacked from it's box, the product has not been utilized and sits in storage. No other comments will be provided at this time.
