I have no idea why Walmart wanted me to review this, but I did.  It's an oil filter, so what is there to say.  This isn't the crap Fram Tough Guard that so many of us have been taught to hate.  Check some youtube videos where these Ultra Synthetic filters are taken apart.  They are good build quality with good materials.  If you want, you can step up to the next level filter, the Synthetic Endurance, which is also a great filter.  The endurance filter is identical to Amsoil's (rebranded?)  filter, but $3 cheaper.

I've been using Fram oil filters for over 40 years now and every vehicle I've used them for achieved over 350K miles and using my preferred motor oil. However, this oil filter even though was stated it would fit my 2011 Nissan Frontier was about an inch too long so it wasn't the right filter. There are 2 different sizes. I believe the oil filter sent was for the 4.0 v-6 engine and not the 2.5 liter engine I have. There's a protruding small section of metal that is in the way to make it fit. So I just cut the metal protrusion to make it fit since I preferred the longer filter.

It does what it's supposed to do, and offers a very high filtration efficiency and allows for extended service intervals when used with full synthetic motor oil.  Nice textured grip as well. I've never had any issues and have been using this brand for decades.  Great price at Walmart compared to auto parts stores.

Excellent filter

i read a lot of auto forums so i have formed my own opinion of oil filter brands.  i generally stay away from regular Fram filters, as they are not regarded as high quality.  however, the tough guard and ultra filters are much better products.  i am not sure i would use this filter for 20k miles of service but am comfortable using it for 10k or less.  i have multiple older vehicles with high mileage.  i use Fram tg/ultra or super tech.  seems to pay off as my cars have lasted for decades.

Better than regular orange box Fram filter

This oil filter was made in the USA which is great. It loos high quality. I've used this on my Honda accord many times with no problems. I also have used this same filter (different part number) on my Hyundai accent many times. Also no Problems with that car. It's supposed to be good for up to 20,000 miles so I will change the oil but not the filter next time so that the oil filter goes though 2 oil changed before I get a new one.

I always try to get this oil filter I have a Honda Insight 2012 I have 375,000 Mi on it and I try to take care of my motor by keeping the oil and oil filter changed

Fram oil filter

This filter is ideal for synthetic oil filtering and if you want longer oil change intervals, i.e. 10k miles.  This is not your standard Fram Orange or Super Tech filter.

Fram Ultra Synthetic Filter

It was time for my Honda Fit Sport's oil change and I couldn't want a better oil filter than Fram. This fit perfectly and Walmart prices are the best around!

Needed an oil change for 2011 Honda Fit Sport

Fits well on Honda Civic 2013 LX Model. The rubber grip at the bottom makes it very easy to install. Price is low and it seems to be fairly well built.

Good Alternative Oil Filter

it doesn't fit my vehicle. I've ordered oil filters before from you and even though I need an xg3600 you keep sending me this xg71 X7. so I have to take my time out and figure out how to get down to the Walmart which is 35 mi away to pick up a real filter that fits. I can't go into the store because I have my dogs with and it's still too hot to leave them in the car.
