[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just a few brush strokes with this tool on my golden retriever and it removed so much from the undercoat! The handle was comfortable and had a nice grip. My dog is still young and wiggly, but she sat still and looked like she was loving getting pampered while I brushed her. Even using the small tool on a larger dog, this will be a lifesaver this summer when she really starts shedding!

Pet friendly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The de shedding tool works well for my dog. She has medium length hair ( we trim it for convenience care ). My dog doesn't seems to care or scares of the tool which is good. It helps comb the hair that is still on after normal wash and regular comb off.

Must have for long coats

A miracle product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Furminator Undercoat deShedding Tool for Small Dogs with Long Hair, and it's a total game-changer. The ergonomic handle makes it super comfortable to use, even during longer grooming sessions — which is great because my dog has a ton of fur.

It does an amazing job reaching through the topcoat to gently pull out loose undercoat hair without damaging the healthy fur or irritating my dog's skin. I noticed way less shedding around the house after just one use.

One of my favorite features is the FURejector button — just press it, and all the collected fur pops right off the blade. It makes cleanup way easier and less gross.

If you're dealing with a shedding dog and want to keep your home a little less furry, I highly recommend giving this tool a shot. It's definitely one of the best grooming tools I've tried!

Must have grooming tool

I have a 7-month old chihuahua dachshund she-devil who considers brushing attempts an actual act of war. The Furminator honestly is so effective that it's made brush time super quick. Well, quicker than normal. It gets all of her loose fuzzies around her ears and pantaloons out quickly without tangling or snagging which is so important, nobody wants a snagged butt hair. The size is perfect for my 9-lb pup, it's small enough that it's only a minor threat, but it's big enough that it'd actually effective. I love this so much I bought my mom one for her golden retrievers.

Groom sessions no longer require drinks afterwards

Excellent for the 50% off I got it at. I would not pay full price for it. Removes tons of fur. Just over priced.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a little underwhelmed with the FURminator deshedding tool. The brush itself works, but the button that is supposed to release the hair gets stuck and doesn't work. I have to manually push it back for the button to get unstuck. I used it on our long-haired dog as well as our short-haired dog, and it worked for both. The button is one of the main functions of the brush that doesn't work, so I wouldn't pay extra for anything fancy such as this.
