Like all Faberware this Is a solid well made item, easy to handle. I have always used a wooden mallet but find this aluminium mallet far better. Aside from the obvious of being double sided for tenderizing or flattening the bonus is cleaning , it's construction material allows for proper cleaning which reduces the risk of cross contamination between meats/poultry.

Faberware-excellent choice

This Meat Tenderizer is fantastic. Love the solid aluminum construction makes it extra sturdy. I like the soft handle cushion it absorbs pressure when pounding.

I looked everywhere for one of these gagets....I am so glad I finally found one....we love tenderized steak. So I plan on using it a lot. I also have some chicken recipes I'm going to try.

I have had my tenderizer for less then a year and it broke in two pieces I thought it was a solid piece I was wrong

Farberware meat tenderizer is broken and Walmart did not accept to get back this product. I will make a complaint to Walmart soon and let you know what has happened.
