We bought this less than 3 months ago and it is garbage. The last can opener I had lasted 20 years. This one, the wheels don't meet. The top wheel goes a quarter of a turn in either direction and locks. The scew is either too loose or too tight. There is no working tension. This is horrid. 

Total piece of junk.

I would rate this as a tin metal tool, perhaps in a metal shop, if at all.  I ended up obliterating the edges of the can, and finished off with a knife to lift the many cut edges of the can. Disappointing product from this company.

Can piercer

I bought it because of its nice grip, lifetime warranty and stainless steel construction, but after the very first use it got all rusted. It really is a piece of junk.

Not stainless at all!!

I bought this item in December and I never managed to open a box completely. The knife doesn't even reach the lid or it goes all wrong.

Faberware box opener

Didn't even come close to working.  Only half removed the lid, but most of the label.  And, I spent money on this junk!

This thing is complete garbage

lasted for a couple years but then the gears wore out and it no longer opens cans. Avoid this opener.
