I've had this can opener in my lunch bag for two years. I bring it with me to work everyday and it works great. I recommend this product!

Great product!

I bought this can opener about one month ago to replace my warn out two year old can opener. Paid twice as much for this one then my old one. Guess what.... this can opener opened maybe eight cans before it gave up the ghost. Not worth it even with the lifetime warrantee. Please avoid this one like the plague. And sham on you Walmart for carrying such a horrible product! Now you know, what are you going to do??

Worst Quality Ever

I'm giving this item "one" star because there are no options to give it a "zero". I bought this can opener about a year ago and after a few months, it became more and more difficult to use, until it now failed completely!! Before I purchased this item I had been using an old fashioned "SIMPLE" manual can opener for MANY years. I think I may have had better luck just picking one up at the DOLLAR STORE !!

WASTE OF MONEY

I bought one of these and it worked well for about 4 months. After that it started to malfunction and every can was an exercise in frustration. The teeth would simply not catch. Do yourself a favour and do NOT get this.

Terrible reliability

I bought it on March 1. Today is March 21. It would not open a can. I thought there must be a problem with the can so tried another one because I am hungry. It would not open the second can either. Now I have to wait to tomorrow to buy another one. I need to always read the reviews before buying. I would not have thought that a can opener that costs this much would be this bad. I don't think I will buy any other Farberware products again.

Lasted under three weeks

Use it once, broked.
Very cheap and a waste of money.

Do not buy this !

Went through two of these and after a few weeks they don't work and had to return them.

They don't work

Worked like a charm the first time I used it and never again since.  The teeth just won't grip the can lip and I basically have to just use it to puncture all the way around the can instead of a rolling cut.  Will never buy anything by this company again.

Broke immediately

I just split my thumb open trying to pry the lid off of a can of cat food because this thing sucks so hard. Shame on me for not buying a new one sooner. As another reviewer said above, I could likely find a better can opener at the dollar store for several dollars less.

Absolute garbage

Absolute terrible product.. Low quality, could break the handles off if I wanted to.... I think it opened 4 cans before becoming a useless piece of steel in my drawer. Opening cans now takes 20 minutes and has me cursing and my hands hurting and I have to pull the mangled lid off with a fork.
