I bought this to keep our two potbelly pigs warm in the barn. It works well. It doesn't get hot like a heating pad, but it is warm to the touch. Both the pigs and the barn cats use it. I will be ordering the larger size next time since so many of our animals seem to use it.

I am very pleased with this pet mat. It heats nicely, but doesn't get too hot. I place it under our dog's bed for extra warmth, as it has been colder than normal for us. He stays indoors, but I also wanted something that could be placed in his house or crate outdoors if he had to be out for any amount of time. This mat is for both indoor and outdoor use, so it will work perfectly. It also has a coil running around the plug-in cord, which is nice. Our dog doesn't chew on things much, but for dogs who do, this would be ideal. Great purchase!

This is great for your outside furry friend. We have an old dog who needs some warmth. She loves it

I plugged the mat in to test it and it is warm to the touch and gets warmer with a weight added to it.

We love the Farm Innovators Medium Heated Pet Mat. Now I can go to work and not have to go home at lunch to let the dog out in bad weather since we got the heated mat he stays outside and when we get home is his warm and a happy dog.

Great dog mat for outdoors

This mat is a little higher quality than the others I have purchased.
The "pilot" light is helpful to make sure it's working properly.
And the cats use it without hesitation.

I got the medium sized heater and it fits perfect in my large Dogloo. Was worried that my dog (boxer) wouldn't like it, but I can hardly get him to come out of his house in the chillier temps. He loves it. Great product for an excellant price!!

heated pad

We have purchased two of these heated pet mats in the last year. Both of them malfunctioned, overheated, and melted the plastic base.  We were fortunate to discover the problem before catching fire or shocking our pet. Do not recommend this item~

Faulty product

I covered it with a padding because it was hard plus I didn't want to always have to wash the cover until it was ruined. Our dogs sleep in an enclosed patio, but I kept noticing they never got on it. Finally I went out one night to feel if maybe it got too hot being it says it gets 100-110 degrees. It wasn't even warm at all, so I returned it. Had no money to waste.
