this Edition is the best so far but however is still just a updated version of the previous installments to go back many years now. the graphics are definitely better than the previous Edition and there is way more variety of crops but the game engine is definitely starting to show its age. the AI help has been upgraded substantially but is still very limited and makes lots of mistakes. unless fields have a straight line to reference the AI cannot work and even if the field has a straight line if one of the edges is too sharp the AI will fail out and say they have completed their task when the field is only quarter done. that being said many of the custom mod maps you have to manually do everything yourself and you can really only use the AI helpers on the official maps.
the equipment variety is great and is getting better every year. it's nice to see some older American Equipment available in the mod manager and everything is very nice and high quality within limits of what the game engine can present.
