If I had only known how effect this product was I would have purchased the area max air purifier  long ago.  It is amazingly quiet.. you can physicaly notice the difference in minutes.

Amazingly delighted.

I bought this air purifier a month ago and am delighted with its efficiency in cleaning the air in my basement condo.  It is very sensitive and will pick up anything in the air that needs to be cleaned.  It works extremely well.  I am very happy I bought it.

Excellent Air Purifier

Unfortunately I have a 40 year old son living in the basement who smokes and it is not nice. I run the purifier on medium In my middle son's room which smells a lot better now and I feel good that his air is better. It is a bit loud but my son is not bothered by it so neither am I.

Great air purifier

It is really good product and will do everything for you what you need. Compact and modern design, Auto start and shut off. I did not expect too much and was very surprised and satisfied. Strongly recommend to buy it to everyone.

unexpectedly good air purifier

Product arrived on time and we'll packaged. Easy to set up right out of the box. Requires occasional change of filters (3 months for carbon filter and 1 year for HEPA FILTER). Noticeably less dust in the house and better air quality.  It has the PlasmaTrue Technology which is an optional setting that utilizes ionization to help safely remove airborne pollutants.  If you are an asthmatic, this setting is not recommended, but easy to toggle on and off by holding the button a few seconds.  I am happy with my purchase.

Aeramax 100 Air Purifier

I have used it for 24 hours straight and am very impressed. Recently moved into a new apartment and the upstairs tenant smokes. I've got allergic rhinitis.

Unfortunately the scent (cigarette) is strong and stuck in the HVAC despite outside smoking. I have positioned this right near the HVAC return in the bedroom and haven't smelled it since. I have set it on auto and it always goes amber or red when the furnace comes on where the scent would come out most. I'll most likely have to replace filters often but I don't mind if my health benefits! I don't notice the ozone/ionizer scent like some people have and i've had a past history of asthma. It's easily turned off though. 

I'm used to sleeping with a fan and humidifier on so the sound on the highest setting isn't bothersome. 
Lights aren't too bad either. I woke up congested 
free, and not sneezing in what seems like forever. I may not need the humidifier for much longer. Seems like my issue is air quality not humidity or air 
circulation... wish i knew this at my last apartment!  

Highly recommended! I bought mine on sale elsewhere in store (they are everywhere) but compared to other model i had (Honeywell) which did nothing... :/ this is amazing!

I'm so happy, full air clean of my bedroom.

Being near a boulevard, avenues and streets, there are several pollutants that enter my house. In addition, some have wood-burning furnaces, another source of pollution. The purifier helps to rid the living room of these pollutants to some extent.

The product is fine. At the beginning there was a smell of plastic.

Was satisfied initially with the product. Did find the fan at higher speeds a bit loud but manageable.
My primary complaint is the GOD AWFUL high pitched hamster wheel sound coming from the fan intermittently and this is only day 2 of use! 

I'll be contacting the manufacturer for a replacement/refund.
