Ease Of Use

For Teachers

Laminating Performance

Auto Shutoff

Compact Design

Plug in with no setup required for efficient operation.

Machine's small size makes it easy to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just from opening the box, I knew this laminator and I would become good friends. It is so easy to use and it is has a super sleek design that doesn't make it look like a bulky item, but something that can easily be placed anywhere and not have it take up any space. As a teacher, I use laminators a lot and this one warmed up super fast (within a minute) and I especially love that it can laminate much larger items up to at least 12 inches. I used the laminator to create a bulleting board display with at least 20 pages and it laminated them in record time - and properly - with the 3 mil pouches the package brings. While I have not used the jam release button yet, I am so glad it has one since my last one had to thrown out due to a major mishap and no way to clear the jam. The best feature for a teacher is the auto-shut off since I tend to do a lot of things at once and I tend to forget to turn off devices. This feature saves me the trouble. As you can see, it is a pretty good laminator and the Halo 125 Laminator gets a teacher thumbs up from me. "I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review." "

Amazing Laminator

fellowes.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laminator is so easy to use, basically just plug in, no setup required. It heats up so fast within 1 minute and it's ready to go so fast. I love the auto shut-off feature too. I would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a great and easy-to-use laminator.

Love This Product So Much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Halo 125 is great. It is light and quiet! My previous laminator was heavy and loud. It warms up quickly. I let me 8-year-old niece help me laminate some things for my classroom and she laminated like a pro. It didn't get hot on the outside, so I was comfortable with letting her laminate. The sheets slid through quickly without any bunching. I am printing and laminating everything I can for the new school year. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Halo and Classroom-Perfect Combination

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family is homeschooling this year and the Fellowes Halo 125 Laminator with Pouch Starter Kit is an excellent addition to our homeschool.

It's lightweight and small and looks very slim and sleek. The Fellowes Halo 125 Laminator with Pouch Starter Kit is not an eye sore sitting on my desk and you can use 3 or 5-mil hot or cold pouch up to 12.5 paper. Also receiving the free pouches saved my family money.

There's even an auto shutoff component that activates after 30 minutes of inactivity to prevent overheating and help conserve energy. It's states Insta heat technology but It does takes a little longer than suggested to warm up but then 1 & 2 and you're done!

I highly recommend the Fellowes Halo 125 Laminator with Pouch Starter Kit.

Homeschool Family

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe how easy this product is to use! And it is so sleek! The power cord seems a bit longer than some others I've used, and that is a plus when working in a classroom where outlets are hard to find! The machine heated up so quickly, and the first document went through so smoothly. I laminated a few other things to fairly see what the machine could handle, like back-to-back sheets, and it worked beautifully! I also love the option to use larger documents, although I do not yet have the proper laminating sheets. No need thus far to use the jam release button, but I LOVE the auto shut off. The Halo 125 Laminator gets 2 thumbs up from me! * "I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review."

So easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laminator works great. Easy to setup and easy to use. I like the option of being able to switch between cold or hot laminating. When powered ON, it defaulted to cold laminating. You will need to press the PLAY button to switch to heat laminating (3 or 5 mil thickness) and the rollers heat up fast. The wide entry (12.5 in) is accommodating to different document sizes. I usually forget to shut this off when done so I love, love, love the auto shutoff safety feature. This thing came with a pack of laminating pouches (25). My wife is an educator, so it all been used up. We already purchased 2 more packs of laminating pouches!

Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I laminate many visuals in my class on a regular basis. It was quick and easy to laminate the images I had printed on cardstock. I watched the time and inserted the laminating pouch after just one minute and it worked! I like the anti-jam and auto-shutoff features although I haven't used them yet. The unit looks nice with a smooth surface that will be easy to keep clean. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Great for Teachers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Halo 125 is a great laminator. The heat time is much faster than our previous laminator. It laminates without wrinkles or bubbles and seals tightly so that you can trim close without the lamination separating. There is a jam release feature that hasn't been used since it hasn't jammed. There is a wire support in the back and an automatic shutoff. It laminates wider items than typical laminators of its size. It is easy to use and has a sleek appearance. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Great laminator

Not user friendly. EXTREMELY SLOW!!! Cools off with steady use. Back brace bracket is poorly designed and will catch the corners as it exits which jams it up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I eagerly anticipated receiving this product. I had a small laminator from another company that I am happy with, but I was looking for a change. When I first opened the box, the tape had been cut open and re-taped with a different type of tape. The box was in good condition and the set up was easy. I read through the instructions and set up to laminate the first project. Thankfully it was a test, so I didn't lose anything important. The machine indicated it was at the correct temperature, so I centered the pouch (per the instructions) and started it into the feed. As it was going through, I turned to talk to a family member in the adjoining kitchen. I turned back looking for the piece I laminated, but it was nowhere to be found. It had not come out of the machine at any point. I started a second piece, hoping to push the first one out enough to release it and pull it out. The second piece pushed the first out enough to grab a corner. It was hopelessly crumbled. The second piece didn't go completely in, but the release button wouldn't release it enough for me to pull it out while I held the release button. It took two people to pull out the second ruined piece. I don't know if the machine was defective, but I do know that it didn't work properly. I received this product free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Disappointed
