I love this shredder! It's extremely reliable - never gets stuck - does a great job. I originally ordered it from Amazon, since I have Prime. They kept pushing the date forward for a whole month! I got tired of that game and ordered from Walmart. I got it in two days! I have to say that I have been very impressed with Walmart's excellent customer service lately. They are way ahead of Amazon, and I have a lot of experience with Amazon. So I may be switching to their membership sometime soon.

Love this shredder.  The very small pieces as opposed to shreds allows more material to collect before emptying. Price was good for such a good product.

Bought this to replace very old (15  years) Fellowes model that shredded in strips.  I like the micro cut feature over the strip cut because the waste is significantly more compact (maybe 50% less volume).  This unit is quieter and shreds in very small fragments as intended.  Per reviews of too slow and overheats: This unit processes as fast as you can reasonably feed the documents by hand.  By the time I have at least partially unfolded a group of letters or advertisements, the unit is ready to accept more material. This unit is rated at 8 pages; yes you can insert 8 standard sheets (not heavy card stock) at a time, but it bogs down. I usually feed 3 to 4 sheets and it does very well.  If you NEED a commercial shredder, then cough up the bucks and buy a commercial shredder that will allow you to rapidly cram full envelopes and advertisements in bulk quantity, but it will cost you considerably more money ($150 ).  Folks, this unit costs approximately $60 and will likely last 10  years.  I shred all my junk mail, obsolete receipts, bank statements, credit cards, etc.  I usually run it for 20 minutes, 1 to 3 times per week and have never had the unit stop or overheat; I have been using this unit for about 6 months.  The only nit pick I have, and it's a small one, is that the container is relatively small and I have to stop to empty it after about 8 to 10 minutes of continuous operation - not a major issue and it's easy to do.  This is a great home shredder and would be fine for the office as well if you don't abuse it and push it beyond its design intent.  I have absolutely no reservations about recommending this product.

Definitely worth buying

All around very sturdy, quieter shredding 2 ways.  Also, Fellows is the maker of the shredder I had  for 20 years   until it finally give out....it was given hard use at times.
, so I was choosing a replacement from the company that I knew from experience that made quality products.

Dependable Product and Maker.

Bought this shredder to replace other model I had that broke. It was easy to set up and very easy and safe to use. Also it has a longer run time 5 minutes then my old one and other models I was looking at that only had a run time of 3 minutes.

Excellent shredder for the price. I love how good it shreds the paper and it doesn't get stuck like my old one used to all the time. Very smooth motor. Getting some oil soon to keep it in good condition.

Instructions that came with it are lacking information but the shredder works great. With better instructions I would have given it 5 stars.

Small compact shredder.  Overheats very quickly.  It's ok for a person who doesn't need to shred very often or who may only need to shred 5-6 pieces at a time.

Plastic cap on the on/off switch was flimsy.  Broke the first day of use.  Need to glue the broken piece back to continue.  The machine works fine.  This is my second machine.  The first one having sticky glue leaked from under the control assembly and  was returned for refund.

The shredder works, but not exactly well built.

It's effective and creates tiny pieces but is noisy as can be.  The whole unit is smaller than expected.  It's more of a desktop model than a floor standing one.
