I choose this as in the past I did try the fancier dish pods but they left film on my dishes or would not dissolve completely. Then I started researching more and I have no interest in added plastic and this Finish Powder seems to be the only option available. I have not had issues with residue, gets them clean and it's inexpensive.  My only complaint is that they switched from a cardboard box to a plastic bag.

No Plastic, Cheap, Clean

As a household that is actively trying to reduce waste, one of the biggest selling points of this 2kg powder dishwasher detergent is its packaging. Of course it works great, Finish is a brand that we trust and use almost exclusively. But we prefer powder to tabs and so this 2kg bag which we are able to recycle makes us feel good about our purchases.

Good value for the price

Haven't used powdered deterin quite sone time, but was pleasantly surprised with this product. Comparable to others pod packages in size, much less expensive and I can use less for a smaller load, and adjust the amount I need, saves me money for sure.

Power POWDER

Finish Classic dishwashing powder worked very well for me. It left my dishes clean and I noticed less residue on the tops of my glasses. I only wish the packaging was easier to store to prevent spills of the product.

Simple Clean

This dishwasher powder does such a great job cleaning my dishes. It's a bit of a hassle to measure out the powder, so it's not as convenient as dishwasher tabs. But it does a great, if not better job, of cleaning my dishes compared to the tabs. My dishes came out really clean and it did a great job of removing stuck on stains and food.

Great Dish Detergent

This was my first time using dish washer powder detergent. You can control the amount of powder that you want to use unlike pods. For small loads I have been using very small of detergent. I won't buy pods anymore. I find the powder is really easy to use and keeps my dishes clean and shiny.

Better than pods

Powder was used years ago, then came "improved" gels, tabs and pods.  These all have had issues.  

Finish Classic Powder allows you to use as little or as much cleaner as you need, dissolved well and I no longer had the remnants of pods clogging the pipes.  The scent wasn't over powering and the dishes came clean.

It would be great if there was an initial refillable package and this was the refill.  As it is not a resealable bag, it is necessary to put it into another container.

Will Purchase Again

What I like most is the control you get with powder format - I can adjust the amount depending on how dirty the load is, which feels less wasteful than pre-measured pods.  It does a solid job on everyday dishes, especially plates, glasses, and lightly soiled cookware, though I've noticed it can struggle a bit with heavily baked on residue unless I pre-rinse.  The 2 kg box lasts a long time in my household, so it's definitely cost-effective, even if it lacks some of the extra shine features you get with premium options.

Simple, Reliable Cleaning That Gets the Job Done

The bag is not resealable, need to pour in to a jar/tub with scoops. The powder is great, no sticky residue, no smell. Cleans very well. Much better than pods

Cheaper than pods and provides a good clean. There was some residue left behind on glassware. I do like this brand but would spend a little more for pods

Classic Powder Finish

I always used Finish products, however I have not used classic Finish detergent in a while. I must say going back to a classic did not disappoint. Dishes were clean, dishwasher smelled good very happy with the performance.
