It arrived on time without a scratch. It was well packaged and delivered. The assembly was quite simple, only a phillips head screwdriver was needed for the top and the legs were screwed in by hand. It is very beautiful, true to the photo and description. It is sturdy and has the soft-close top. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Easy to assemble and attractive.

This cedar chest is really beautiful!  Easy to put together. I did it myself except for the lid. Someone had to hold it up while I screwed the hinges on. I highly recommend it.

It is beautiful and sturdy. I just didn't realize I would need to put it together. Luckily for me my son knows how to. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Beautiful cedar chest

The Coaster Furniture Cedar Chest is beautiful but all of the pieces were warped; requiring hiring a professional to remove as much of the warping as possible.  Chest is usable and looks good but close inspection shows minor warping.

Defective Chest

Another piece of overpriced , you assemble . Chinese , furniture !
and some of the hardware in the plastic bag was missing . I have tried calling the manufacturer to get the missing hardware , but I'm still waiting ....

I finally learned my lesson , on the "Cheap" furni

This unit is not solid wood, but made of particleboard with a veneer finish.  As a result, the holes for the cam-lock connectors and tiny hinge screws get stripped easily, requiring hardware change-outs and wood-glue repairs.   This is a cheap, flimsy piece, mass produced in Asia.
