This scratcher is great for our cat - she loves to sit back and scratch or lie on the floor around it. She loved the feathers on the sand toy too!

Fun for our cat

Hallow inside very light and NOT sturdy at all. Wood base is as light as a feather. Useless for my cat. Cheaply made not worth the price whatsoever.

Not Sturdy enough for a scratch post

If you want a sturdy scratch post DO NOT buy this!! The base is not sturdy whatsoever. The globe actually wiggles around on top of the thin piece of wood, even when fully tightened. It's completely hallow inside too which makes it very light and moves easily making it difficult for a cat to get a grip when trying to scratch. Waste of money
