Works well for a variety of color products providing a non-yellowing, clear background. Gesso is water-based, but permanent and flexible after drying. A very smooth finish with no gritty finish.

This product is in a plastic container with plastic lid. They sent this product in a bag/envelope and the lid was broke obviously because it was not packaged in anyway to protect the product. So when I received package you could tell it was leaked out inside package. Very sad waited all this time to receive something I can't even use, just a huge mess I had to throw away. The sellers need to package this way better to prevent this from happening to anyone else. I only gave it 2 stars because I have no idea how the product actually is since I didn't get to use it and it may be great. Just the packaging/shipped was a disaster
