The Firestone Transforce AT2 is an all-terrain light truck tire for commercial applications such as pickup and delivery or general contracting.  The casing of every Firestone Transforce tire is reinforced under the tread and on the sidewalls to protect against damage. With it's more aggressive design, deep grooves to promote traction on wet surface and zig-zag sipes (cuts in the tread blocks), the Transforce tires will give you the extra grip you need on construction sites and gravel roads.

Performance

I only have approximately 4500 mile so I can't comment on it's wear, but I can say it is one of the best snow traction tires I have ever had. I have read that others have felt that it was not a good tire for snow. I would like to know what they had that was so much better. I did notice what I call squirming when the tires were new, but that seems to have gone away. Very pleased with these tires and plan on replacing with the same if the mileage proves out.

Great tire so far

These are the best tires I have ever had. I am a storm chaser and these tires are absolutely amazing on wet roads. I usually get no more than 40,000 miles on a set of tires but these have 68,000 and counting. I tell everyone about them. I am replacing my current set with another set of Transforce AT2 tires as soon as I get the money. They do great off road as well. Storm chasing can be dangerous and rough on your tires. These tires give me peace of mind in stressful situations.

Best tire I have ever had

These came with my truck and now that I have 83K on it, the rubber seems to be a bit hard and traction on wet roads is dodgy. I thought about replacing them with the same tire but at $300 per tire it really isn't an option. Long lasting tire with no issues other than a nail puncture once, if you can afford them, they would be worth it. But on a 12 year old truck, maybe not so much.

Factory Tire

My last set of these tires I acquired 62,000 miles on my 2016 Ram 2500. This encouraged me to come back for another set for this truck. My 2018 Ram 3500 came with some off-shore tire I only achieved 31,000 miles not happy... These tires were strongly recommended to me by several friends.

Durable Tires

These are the OEM tires on my 2018 Ram 3500 CrewCab SRW. I'm hauling a 14500 lb fifth wheel and these tires have performed well. I've been to Key West and back to South Bend and further. The rear tires seemed to wear quite a bit in the 4000 miles I towed but they remained cool and stable during the tows and have performed well in hard stopping occasions.

Nice tire

This tire is the poorest quality tire I have had put on my truck. The sway factor was terrible. The vibration factor was terrible. After talking to the technical support I was told that the dealer was to talk to the tech support. They told him that it was beyond the 30 day warranty there was nothing we could could do. The dealer took it upon himself to pull the transforce and put on Hankook. guess what the vibration was gone and the sway went away. The Transforce has a very weak sidewall. if I was to compare it to any tire side wall it is like a 2 ply sidewall. Compared to the Hankooks side wall it is like driving on a marshmellow. The engineer that came up with this design should have some field experience with tires so he or she knows what is quality and what is not. I am happy to say that the dealer I went through has dropped the Transforce and will continue to sell the Hankook. I was told theTransforce used to be the go to tire, but, No more. Thanks you Firestone/Bridgestone for the lack of support.

Transforce AT2

I Drove this truck to Wyoming on a hunting trip on and off road. Rocky and rough terrain. The side walls received damage from rocks gouging into the side walls. (Squishy bulging side walls) After 21,000 miles one front tire has developed a bubble at the edge of the wheel rim. No where near any tire damage. Fire stone will not warrant it as defective. RAM installed these tires from the factory. (Mistake I'd say) This is a RAM 2500 4X4 off road capable truck. I will be going to an authorized Firestone dealer to get the correct on/off road new tires and get the best road hazard warranty they offer. Side wall damage

Follow every crack in the road. Junk! Worst since firestone 500 tires I had in the late 70's. Now I remember why I do recommend Firestone. If my truck didn't have stability control, I would have had an accident the other day! Do not know how they can sell them in good conscience! Certainly can not pull a trailer with these things!

Very poor tie life. Had two full sets and have experience broken belts on the tires at 15000 miles. Company won't warranty that tire failure even though all tire rotation done on recommend and air pressure properly maintained. Will not be buying the Transforce AT 2 again. Poor quality tire.
