They keep pulling my 1 star review so I'm trying to sneak this in. I bought my tires in fall 2017. I ran them a little that winter and a little the next winter. I never thought the traction was much better than my mud terrain tires in ice, snow, or slush. They didn't look as good so I just ran the mud terrains most of those winters. This winter I committed to the winterforces early and put them on at thanksgiving. I just pulled them off on 1/28/20 because the sipes are worn off on a large number of tread blocks. The tread depth is 13/32"-15/32". I figured this can't be the way it's supposed to be so I've reached out to the manufacturer and the company that put the tires on. The place I purchased the tires at is owned by the manufacturer. No one can tell me anything so I don't know if this is normal or if I just have a bad set. So just watch out if you by these you're sipes might just get sniped out early.

I am on my second set of Winterforce tlres since I bought this truck in 2015. I only run them 5 months of the year from Nov-April. My job has me driving about 50% highway and 50% off road. Working in the forest industry in Alberta Canada my job has me driving 6000 km's per month through the winter so I was looking for a reliable tire with a smooth quiet ride and good traction on snow and ice. My first set was on for 3 winters and this is the second winter on the tires I have and I will run them one more winter. Best tire ever. I also had both sets studded. Only one tire on my first set separated after 45000 km's and of course there wasn't any warranty by this time the dealer told me. No worries I just purchased a new one and carried on. I'm hoping that was just a "one off" glitch and we'll see moving forward. I have 50,000 km's on this second set and so far all is good. Way to go Firestone for producing a great tire at a fair cost.

Best Ever Light Truck Winter Tires

The Firestone Winter Force tires replaced the factory original Michelin LTS AT2 tires which were very good hiway tires but were terrible snow tires. The Winter Forces were easy to balance, give almost no road noise, and drive down the hiway with no squirme with or w/o pulling a trler. Excellant traction in hiway snow or when pulling through deep snow on non-plowed gravel roads. Two downsides with the Wimter Forces: lost of about 1 MPG, and they p/uhold sall rocks like crazy till about 55 MPH when they start poping into the wheel wells.

Review For Winterforce LT

They are an awesome tire for normal everyday driving, and they were cheap. I put these on my wife's 05 sierra. We live way back in the woods its 7 miles of Michigan sand roads, then another 10 miles of blacktop into town. These tires do great. If anyone is familiar with the snow belt then you know what I'm up against. Like I had said this is the wife's Daily driver and Anyone that is married will more than understand asking your wife to have the tires rotated on regular basis.... well needless to say they have been rotated maybe only 4 or 5 times and we have had them on for 2 years. But they have worn fine I honestly think I will not have an issue getting another 20k out of them. Heavy mud they slick up but they are not built for that. I had gotten stuck once in really heavy snow... but it was my fault the snow was up to the bumper. But an all around great tire for normal driving.

Purchased these tires for my 2wd tundra. Decided on these due to cheap price but what I got was beyond my expectations. These tires work great in the light and heavy snow, never got stuck once last season. Passed front wheel drive cars getting stuck going up hills and I had an empty box rwd only. Have used them for 2 winter seasons, plan to purchase them again once they are done.

Put these tires onto our jeep winter 2012. Both winters I have been veryimpressed. Driving in conditions of -20 to -50 degrees celsius in northern alberta I feel I have put these tires to the test. In light snow there is no difference that dry pavement, tires grip excellently and stop on a dime with no sliding. In deep snow I get slight slippage but I did not get stuck. Deep snow was approximately 1.5 feet with 4x4 being used. In icy conditions which we get daily on snow compacted cold roads, the jeep stops very well and accelerated with little no slippage when accelerating modestly.overall great tires, the rubber is soft and appropriately sipped for snow and ice. I did not stud these tires forwhat I feel is great results. Police cars and other government vehicles also use this tire, ambulances ect.

I run my snow tires year-round. So far I have gotten two great winters and two summers from these tires. I have overloaded the truck on a number of occasions and these tires hold up well(overloaded = 14,000 lbs on a 10,000 GVWtruck- it was too heavy but I was committed and it worked). I do not stud thetires because of year-round use - but studs would make this tire perfect in winter. I will likely replace them before winter because I plow - if I didn't plowI would keep them for another year - so tread wear is very good.

I live in Syracuse NY (just like Buffalo) Snow town USA. I purchased a set of 4 studded snow tires, after driving around on all season and I have to tell you the change was outstanding, no more white knuckle driving. These tires recently went through a snow storm, we are talking 6 to 8" drifts with a standard 3 to 4" mealy snow, the complete way to work. The tires grabbed and responded excellent in the snow. Great on big hill driving too. I recently was going up a huge hill out of a valley with no cars or trucks in front of me, when 1/4 mile before the crest of the hill, I had to come to a complete stop as a 4 wheel drive truck with worn tires and a car in front of me was sliding side ways trying to make the hill. The true test, at the steepest grade of the hill, from a dead stop in 4" of mealy snow. The truck moved forward, took the hill and got me to work. That evening, I drove up my driveway with Ice and 8" of wet snow. In the recent past I would of not make it up the driveway with 2" on my all seasons. Enough said. I great tire, that is reasonably priced. If your locality can tolerate studs. I would highly advise it. As I was driving over black ice and didn't even knowit until a policeman in the road told me the road was closed ahead due to a fewtractor trailers and vehicles in the ditch. Firestone did their homework on these tires. One very satisfied customer. Yes they do hum a little, but its a trucktire made for winter snow / and ice. The combination of respecting the weather that you are driving in along with a good snow tire, like this one, should get you to your destination. I will buy a set again.

2012 jeep wrangler rubicon unlimited the side walls are soft for ride comfort and it is comfortable, however, after I lifted my jeep this comfort became terrifying as the soft side walls and skinny profile started to cause wander and trigger speed wobble. im not saying they are bad tires cause they are great tires, just not for lifted jeeps. jeep guys beware

I bought these tires on 1/4/2016 and feel that they are NOT a winter tire at all. I do snow plowing and this is my second winter with them. The first winter we only had about 24" of snow so I never really used them. This year we had about 80" of snow fall over the year and I have never been stuck or felt like I am going to slide off the road as much with the firestones as I did with different tires. Just going down the road is a task you don't know if you are going to stay on the road or go off. It fells like you are always riding on a sheet of ice and it fells like the truck floats all over the place. The tires spin all the time especially when plowing even when you are just backing up from the snow bank. I have a friend with the same truck and he has been plowing with summer tires and he is out pushing me which is kind of sad because I have winter tires on. This is the first set of firestone winter force I have ever bought and it is definitely going to be the last. I called firestone to see what they could do for me because I have to buy new tires next year and there is nothing they can or will do. I fell like some money is owed back as the tires only have about 10,000 miles on them. I am very disappointed with them and this company for the service. I also understand that the tires have been used but had I know what they were like the first year I would have brought them back. I am going back to my original tires I used for years the cooper discoverer such a better product I never got stuck with them like I did with these tires. Strongly recommend NOT buying the firestones winter force just a horrible winter tire.
