Bought this for use at my camp. It runs my lights,TV, satellite and even a coffee maker in the morning. It runs some power tool ie 71/4 inch skil saw, drills and a cheap vacuum cleaner. That's about it. Easy to start and put into a small shed with lots of ventilation you can hardly hear it. Also manageable for a senior to handle

This is a fantastic little generator. I bought it for my wife's birthday and she is able to start it with ease. She just puts it on her zero turn mower and she is off to trim hedges and use other electrical power tools. No more complaining about hard to start gas powered tools!

I can recommend this product

I have larger generators for when the power goes out during the day (thanks california). I wanted a small, easy to lift unit just to run my refrigerator at night and coffee maker in the morning. It doesn't make sense to burn the fuel a larger gen needs when you're asleep and almost everything is turned off. This little guy runs over 11 hours on 1.7 gallons of gas. it's easy to move, runs perfect and starts on the first or second pull every time. It's a money saver. Be smart and drain the fuel tank and carburetor float bowl when not in use. the float bowl has a drain. Change the oil after 5 hours and then again every 25. If I drain the gas from both places, it always starts when I need it next. I really like this small handy unit when my wattage needs are low.

Impressive small unit for saving gas

Great little generator. I use ethanol free fuel and run it every other month when not on the road. Always starts and easy to pull. We use it to back up our solar pannels when RVing.

On everything. Easy to start.nice features.much better than harbor freight portable generator.tail gator piece of my junk.even hurt my hand trying to start it. But not my Gorman no problem.

I bought this in the middle of a very cold camping trip when my other generator died. Kept batteries charged, runs a very long time on a tank if gas. Comes with everything needed except gas. I differently recommend this generator.

I highly recommend this little generator.

We used this generator during a recent PG&E blackout. We only needed it to run our refrigerator and power a few lights. It worked perfectly. We plan to take it with us on camping trips next summer.

I would give the unit a five star rating if it was quieter. Don't get me wrong, it's not loud. Just not at quit as the unbelievably expensive Hondas and the alike. Great unit for the price.

Fine for the price

This unit is the second of its model that I've had. It is a replacement for a duplicate that suffered a governor failure within a few hours of use after purchase. The second unit, the one I am currently using, suffered a failure of the oil pressure shut-down switch soon after it was delivered. I am using the unit, successfully, but am obliged to check the oil level prior to each startup to ensure that the unit is lubricated. I know that the unit will not shutdown on its own should it suffer a loss of oil pressure.
