The Firman W01781 Inverters power is supplied by our Max Pro Series 80cc Firman engine which runs cool and efficient thanks to its Phoenix Fat Head Block. Our Whisper Series muffler keeps the W01781 running a quiet 54 decibels – well below the standards set by the National Parks Service, and our spark arrester has been approved by the USDA Forest Service. The .9-gallon fuel capacity provides a whopping 12 hours of run time. Starting is simple with the Firman First pull, reliable recoil system. The Firman digital automatic voltage regulator ensures clean, consistent power output from the Firman Power Stream alternator. For the ultimate in portability, the W01781 is less than 52 lbs with a built-in ergonomic handle. Major touch points are all front and center for easy starting and use, power, choke, eco-mode, and all receptacles are conveniently located for easy access. I investigated a few different inverter generators before buying this one. I'm happy with the results. It works great and wasn't very expensive. I use it to power a 6000BTU portable air conditioner in my truck while I'm sleeping. I absolutely don't like to idle my engine for extended periods.

I bought it mostly to run a miter saw and small compressor. It struggles a bit withe either of them, especially at start up! You can't run them both at the same time (if the compressor is running don't start the chop saw) but I figured that when I bought it. I will probably buy a cordless miter saw to solve the problem but for right now this works fine. Good little geni. Easy to move & store. .

Good buy!

I am a long haul trucker that spendsalot of time in truck stops and spots wear the normal folks would not want to stay but us truckers never have a choice but using the Firman Generator saves me wear and tear on my Big Rig Motor saves me on fuel like if I idle my truck I go threw 1.5 Gallons and hour not to mention the extra hours put on the truck motor and I can run the generator all night and have my fridge tv blue ray the AC on and my Microwave and this little Generator runs it all

Trucker saves Fuel

I bought this to be able to circulate hot water heated with natural gas (in winter), fridge and freezer in an event of prolonged power outage. If outage occurs due to seismic event, it may not help if natural gas supply line is severed. So it does not provide perfect solutions but we can still keep foods in better conditions. With electricity supply, water and food it will be easier to stay comfortable

Great choice

I purchased this unit for our yearly moose hunting trip to our remote cabin. Was excited to try it out but after opening the box I found the accessory kit, oil, plug wrench, 12 volt charging cable and owners manual were missing. Also the black plastic cover above the spark plug was also missing. That was a little frustrating. The generator itself worked great. After the initial break in it was started and run for 6 days straight, 24 hours a day. It ran our refrigerator and a dozen lights no problem. It did chug a little when the refrigerator cut in but pulled through and was never a problem would have been 5 stars if the missing pieces were in the box!

Almost a 5 star!!

The supplied oil matched the stated capacity so when I filled it, it overflowed a bit a made a mess. Dip stick is near the horizontal so visual checking is difficult. Started easily and put under full and medium load for a break in. The manual is good with lots of helpful info. Havent had any long term use yet but suspect it will be fine.Satisfied with this purchase.

As expected

We needed a portable generator that was easy for one person to handle. The unit is quiet to operate and reliable. After approximately 1 year the engine would run but not produce power. Called the help line and they were very helpful. A wiring harness connector had come apart. Fixed the problem myself in 15 minutes. We are happy with the product and the support!

It's a good product and I would recommend it to others.

I have a camp off the grid and this generator fits the bill. It will run all the lights, TV and a small fridge. On average it runs 8 hours a day for the 3 months when the camp is used. Would have given a 5 star review if not for the refueling. The fueling port should be slightly slanted towards the front.

Nice and quiet machine.

It is light and quiet, but the power is sometimes inconsistent. It somewhat does the job for me but it is limited. In general it is a good product for the price compared to a Honda. The customer service experience I had was disappointing.
