The Firman W03081 Inverters power is supplied by our Max Pro Series 171cc Firman engine which runs cool and efficient thanks to its Phoenix Fat Head Block. Our Whisper Series muffler keeps the W03081 running a quiet 58 decibels – well below the standards set by the National Parks Service, and our spark arrester has been approved by the USDA Forest Service. The 1.8 gallon fuel capacity provides a whopping 12 hours of run time. Starting is simple with the Firman First pull, reliable recoil system. The Firman digital automatic voltage regulator ensures clean, consistent power output from the Firman Power Stream alternator. For the ultimate in portability the W03081 is less than 95 lbs with a built in ergonomic handle. Major touch points are all front and center for easy starting and use, power, choke, eco-mode and all receptacles are conveniently located for easy access. We will mostly use this generator to power our travel trailer during peak demand times while we are off grid like running the AC, or microwave. It will also help charge up the battery, to run our lights, TV, and water pump for times when we need less power. Sometimes I might need to run a power tool, and this generator is more than enough for that. It's early days though. We are still working our way through the break-in period, so we really can't put this generator to the test until after the 1st 25 hours. But the on-board hour meter will help let us know when that time arrives.

FIRMAN Power Equipment

Unit arrived with no damage, followed instructions contained within, started first pull. Used this past week and a half out camping to run AC for the hots days, and it delivered. It was as quiet as i expected to be running at full power. Some reviews complain that it is still to loud. Compared to my old 2000 Watt Champion inverter generator at full power, and there was only a slight difference in the noise.

Exactly what i expected

Can now review after a recent camp trip. Finished break in period, using non ethanol gas and will continue. Changed spark plug to KPG, and changed oil to fully synthetic Castrol. Runs like a champ and starts on 1st pull most times. Ran gen on recent camp trip in 98 degree weather at 5300 ft. had no problem with running AC and a few lights and wife's 400 watt curling iron/dryer and and had no issues. We'll see how it responds at higher altitude here in CO. Also of note, noticed that it didnt like the temp setting too low on AC thermometer that far down under hot conditions and overloaded...as stated in manual that it might. Changed temp to 69 degrees and had no problem. It does suck gas on full run mode so run time may differ depending on what you use? Will try next time on econo mode with lower loads and see how long it will run. So far so good and happy with the purchase! Not too heavy and love the pull handle!

Well made generator

Would recommend this generator. Powers 6 breakers, allowing me to run 2 fridges all my led light in my house, two computers plus all the networking gear, two TVs, and my 1500 watt convection oven.

W03081 3300 watt inverter

Great unit for the cost while it's made in China so is my Yamaha inverter. Fills a large void where the big names fall short with there small or to large/heavy inverters.

Great Value and Quality

We put up wood boards around it to muffle the sound in a camp ground but it was still very quiet - relative to some others! It ran everything in the trailer without problems - tv, fridge, phones when charging, etc. Light weight. Good on gas. Con: after 7 hours of running the carb might be gummed up already with recommend fuel

I would buy this again

Great quiet unit. Does what I need it for, use for camping and runs A/C unit on trailer nicely as well. Only complaint I wish it had a fuel gauge, if it did I would five a 5 star for sure

I recommend this unit

Great for rv. Runs AC, fridge, satellite tv all at the same time. AC unit on rv is a 15000 btu. Have to start AC without any other load. Once running other devices can be added no problem

Best generator in this wattage for the price on the market

I bought this generator to run my AC on my horse trailer. The price was reasonable and the looks of the unit appeared to look sharp and well put together. I did a run per the owners manual using a fan I had here at the house. When I went on my first road trip it was hot outside and I needed some AC to make it bearable. I started it up and then plugged my trailer into it and it would start and then stall out. I thought maybe it was my AC but after trying t figure this out I called firman and they tried to provide assistance but with no luck. Then a week later at home I asked my brother to look at it and he started with fuel- ok, spark plug it had been damaged at the factory and we replaced it and everything was resolved. What alarms is I shared this information with Firman and did I hear back not a word. I wonder if they are a quality centered organization?? The generator works as intended.

I would buy this again but

The price on these units is awesome. We bought one for camping. We followed all the instruction for break in. When running in normal mode the generator ran smooth. Once you pressed eco mode the engine sputtered and choked. Still powered what we needed but it wasn't good. I called firman and let them listen to it and he immediately sent me a replacement. Awesome. No questions asked. Problem is, the second one does the same thing, and after a couple months the pull cord is frayed. So we have two that work great in normal mode but are almost louder and definitely more annoying when in eco. In eco, we can get 12 hours from a tank of gas. We love that. Just wish they'd run smooth.

I have purchased this generator for a travel trailer, but have sent 2 request for warranty, due to a defective panel which has a stripped insert nut, first, a person has to fill engine with supplied oil, I noticed 1 of the 4 fasteners is loose for the access side panel, filled engine with oil, ran the engine, installed the side panel but 1screw won't tighten, I registered my purchase online, then was sent an email address so as if I need assistance, I have sent 2 detailed emails with pictures for warranty, but never received a reply from Firman, have not got to use the generator yet waiting for parts, also backfires and sputters at idle but hoping it requires to be ran for a bit, to see if it solves backfiring
