This clock looks great in the light ... But if the lighting is poor u can not distinguish the hands from the numbers they are the same color therefore blend in . I really like the clock the tick is a little loud but asthetically looks great. I think it looks better in possession than the picture. I shopped online and found Walmart to have the best price.

Great Clock

Looks great on the wall.  Even though it's plastic, it looks very elegant.

Love the clock!

Not what I expected.   i expected all gears to intermesh but they do not. 
2 small gears on either side work, but have a separate motor and require a separate battery. 
The large gear in the middle is part of the painting in back, just a picture. 
so this clock requires 3 batteries, i for each gear, 1 for the clock. 
in my opinion, Its not worth 65 bucks i paid for it.
