I really like the different types of soothing sounds and the projection light is awesome but my Daughter truly loves the Firefly effect. The plushy is a bonus when Supervising when she falls asleep I make sure to pull the soother and the plush out of the crib for safety. A must have for sleep training and Truly doesn't compare to other soothers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have several products that light up and make soothing sounds for bedtime, but the Fisher Price bear the FP Lights & Lullabies polar bear took the cake as far as my toddler was concerned.
This week we put this little lantern soother in his room and showed him how it projects beautiful stars on the ceiling while white noise or soothing music plays. After that night, he wouldn't nap or sleep overnight without it. We have since showed him the facing fireflies and he loves those as well. If I forget to turn it on, he will adamantly remind me. His whole face lights up every time the stars or fireflies come on. The various sounds are also very tolerable for parents. 

My only complaint is that I don't understand why the flimsy teddy bear cake with this lovely lantern. My son looked at it a couple times but hasn't touched it since.

18 mo obsessed with his Firefly Soother!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cuddle night light for my boys because I new they would really enjoy it. They both really like night light and stuffed animals and this has both. I like that it has 2 different light options. I just wish it had a heartbeat sound. They have taken turns sleeping with this since we got it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Fisher-Price Baby Bear and Firefly Soother is a big hit at our house! It is a wonderful soother for baby to drift of to sleep to and also doubles as a fun nightlight for my older kiddos. I love having the option of the soft glow of the fireflies and the star projection for a little brighter light.There are 4 sound modes; music, nature sounds, whimsical (think spa music), and white noise. The sound quality is decent. You have 2 options for volume, low and high, with high not being too loud for a peaceful sleep. I also like that the lights and sound gradually dim/fade before turning off so it is not so abrupt. The lights stay on for about 15 minutes and the music goes off after 20 minutes. You can easily restart it in the dark by pushing the button on top of the lantern, although I did notice that if the music is still on but the lights are off, you cannot restart the lights by pushing the button on top. You would need to change the music or switch it to off then on again to get the lights to come back after they've turned off. 

The bear plush is cute and can be used for cuddling by the older kiddos or as a cute decoration next to the lantern soother. He even has a little Velcro so you could hook his arm around the handle and he will stay in place. He is very soft and great for snuggling. Overall, this is a great product for baby and beyond!

Perfect for Baby and Toddler/Preschooler

These features include playing music and white noise. It can also play soothing nature sounds. The best feature is the changing star projector. This is definitely durable because my daughter has dropped it on a hardwood floor several times and it still works perfectly! I give this lantern 5/5!t

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The baby bear and firefly soother were so much more fun than I thought it would be! It is the perfect size for both a nursery or on the go and is exceptionally adaptable. I love how you can use both items together, or just the bear or soother on their own. Even my four years old is in love with the other and wanted to carry it around! The melody options on the soother are beautiful and calming. I was also in love with the light choices and adored the lightning bug setting. It honestly does look like lightning bugs in a jar! I could not possibly recommend this product more. This soother is absolutely the perfect baby gift!

Such a great baby soother!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for any age— infant through adults! This is for my 6-month-old, although my almost 3-year/old has also shown interest in it. The soother is absolutely beautiful. I have 3 kids, so I have seen quite a few baby products. This one is definitely unique in that it draws you in and relaxes you. It is like a flame that you can't help but look towards, and the lantern goes from dim to slightly brighter and then dims again, again like a flame. 

There are a lot of options for what types of sounds you want to play, and honestly I've only tried the ambient because I love it so much. I push the button when I begin nursing my baby to sleep, and it relaxes me so much. The light turns off after awhile but the sounds continue to play. If you want the light back on, you simply push the button. A toddler could easily learn to do this. 

The included stuffed bear has a Velcro arm that can be attached to the lantern. Honestly, I wish the lantern was sold without the bear as we already have plenty of stuffed animals, but it is a sweet touch. I would love for an addition of the lantern being able to project stars on the ceiling. That would give it a 5-star rating in my book. However, I would highly recommend this soother to any new parent. It would be a wonderful baby or even a 1st birthday gift

A very unique and relaxing soother

I didn't think this was worth the price. The lamp seems okay but the bear is separate and it doesn't do anything.

You can't play the lights only, the music has to be on. I think the music is too loud for a baby. I wish the stars moved, they do not, are just stationary. the fireflies move, but that's the only good part of this toy. stuffed animal attached is a cheap, thin little thing. spend you money on a different toy with lights.
