[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was really excited to get this salon play set since she loves to wash her dolls hair. I like the fact that it came with it's own doll cause some salon sets don't. The only problem we had with this was that the sink wouldn't pump water through at first but after messing with it for a few minutes I was able to get it working right and we haven't had an issue since. Overall my daughter has had this set for 3 weeks and all the pieces have held up to her playing awesomely and trust me she is by no means gentle with her toys so I appreciate the sturdiness. The only reason I took one star away is because it was frustrating for my daughter when she was all ready to play and then the water pump wasn't working right so she had to wait for me to fix the issue and was rushing me, otherwise I would definitely recommend this play set.

My 7 year old daughter loved this set, specially the hair glitter included in the set. The functioning sink was also one of her favorite features, she was able to figure out how it works by herself by simply reading the instructions included. The Barbie doll has bending legs so it's easy for her stay seated and have her hair washed. The set comes with lots of hair salon accessories which makes playing pretend a lot more fun. My daughter and I strongly recommend this product!

Fun Barbie beauty salon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this item for about a month now and my daughter loves it! Upon receiving it, she immediately wanted to help mommy get it out of the box. All the items included were easily cut out with a pair of scissors. She began to play with the toy right away as very little assembly is required. She set up the you in her playroom on her table. She played with it for a few days before I even told her you can actually put water in it and make it a fully functioning salon. Game changer! Once she put the glitter in the hair, oh it was over! I was worried about the mess it would make, however, she is able to play with it independently without much of a mess at all. There are no leaks, the toy is made very well. We went on vacation and this whole toy got its own "suitcase" and the "girls" went on vacation with us. She plays salon with the other Barbies in her collection. This is a great toy for the imagination and has kept her occupied for almost a month now. I would highly recommend this toy!

You can never get bored with the barbie salon because it opens up your imagination and makes you feel like you are really a stylist! I like that the glitter gel comes out of the comb so she won't get it all over. I also cut the different hair style pictures from the sides of the box so she can have different options when styling Barbie's hair.

The products were very well made, not cheap on flimsy and my little girl felt like it was Christmas in july. Her face lit up when she opened it and she has played with it non stop since! Rosalie, six year old reviewer, was excited when this arrived and played with it while unboxing.

This Salon and Spa has everything: glitter, comb, and working hair washing station. Thankfully, the dress this doll is wearing dries quickly because she can get quite wet!

Rosalie's only complaints was that their wasn't enough storage/space for all the accessories, some accessories refuse to stay on the shelf (won't "attach"), and the faucet is too low. 

Adult complaints - same as child's. 

Rosalie even made herself an "Open" sign for this Salon and Spa, she does quite enjoy combing the glitter and then washing her hair!
