[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7-month-old loves the Dance & Groove Rockit. Babies don't typically have a very long attention span, but the music, motion, and lights keep our baby excited and interested for a while. Baby's older siblings enjoy the recording function and love saying silly things and having Rockit repeat it back in modulated tones. I appreciate that that this toy has different level settings which will increase the age-range that our baby will enjoy this toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is geared towards kids under the age of 3 and my son who is nearly 2 seems to love it.  The soft changing lights and variety of songs keep his attention.  My 6 year old seems to enjoy it so far as well, I'm guessing this will quickly fade as it is meant for much younger kids.
There are 3 levels of activities some are initiated but pushing Rokkit's hands.

My sons love the repeat feature, where Rokkit repeats some audio in a distorted voice.  Full disclosure, this is funny and they LOVE it, for a parent this will get a bit annoying after a while.

Lots of features

The toy is quite heavy, I'm sure to to keep it from tipping over. That makes it a little daunting to use with a younger infant. But the colors and sounds are very good. I like that it has different levels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly I want to say Rock it is adorable, made from a light weight plastic material and has dozens of features. This creature comes with a base in which it can swivil or dance on to get your little ones moving, light up features, levers and buttons to push within its belly to activate different features, ill explain more later on each function and what it teaches. There are two types of textures one on each foot, the right has a rough bumpy or nub like texture and the left foot is adorned with a smoother chevron pattern and a ring with colorful clackers. Also some parent sanity features are batteries are included and it auto shut offs after a period of time whilst not in use! 


From an educational stand point it helps with fine motor skills, creative thinking, prompts child to respond to questions and actions such as "can you find the shapes on my belly" sensory development, memory skills , promotes pretend play and encourages your child. Another notable skill teaching moment is it helps with social skills, which are very important to the toddler aged children as it preps them for daycare/school etc. 


For children 6 months and up and on level one specifically pushing the yellow button says what the ABCS are and lists colors whilst rocking and lighting up yellow, includes music. The letters go only up to G whilst set to level one. Rolling the ball in the center prompts Rock it to light up, rock and say " 1,2,3" Second roll plays music and continues counting to ten. Also he/she states colors while lighting up. Lastly for level one pushing the lever down states shapes "circles, squares and triangles those are shapes" also lights up red and says " that's red I love red" Plus the texture feet and clackers are appropriate for this age. 

Level two features and introduction to Spanish. States colors in Spanish and then in English such as "Azul that's blue"  Asks do you see something blue while lighting up blue, which prompts the child to think and look for the color blue, then tells them Rock it is blue. Rolling the ball also counts in Spanish up to three. Pulling the lever on level two teaches shapes and colors in English and Spanish. Pushing the yellow ABC button plays music. and teaches colors in Spanish and English. 


Lastly level three the most advanced level for older children toddler aged. Prompts to high five to activate the record feature. Sings ABCs, states colors and related them to an object such as " that's yellow, bananas are yellow" Rolling the ball plays music as a dance break which is super cute, Pretend play such as being an airplane and gives the sound effects, which the kids love. The lever starts glow and Rock it singing about shapes. Overall I love this toy as well as do the kids, its a bit repetitive and might get boring for the toddlers after a while, I think if it included more shapes, colors, numbers, words in Spanish etc it would be more effective in keeping our attention, though other than that I find no other flaws.

I bought this for my son for his first birthday and he absoutley loves it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What does this toy NOT do? It plays music, it sings, it lights up, it recites colors, numbers and letters. I think this is a fantastic toy. I would purchase this if it went on sale because I love a bargain but this toy is worth every penny. My son sits in front of it and giggles away for a decently long time! He is obsessed with the lights and music. It has different stages you can set it to, one of them being a recorder. So your child can talk and it will repeat what they say. My son mostly babbles but it was still funny to listen to the toy babble back. Oh and my son is rough with toys, he likes to push them over and so far this one is holding up well. Worth the purchase!

Fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is pretty awesome. Reminds me of beatbo however it is a lot more durable. It gets played with daily and dropped at least once a day and it still works well. I love that it has stages so it grows with my kiddo. The mimic feature gives us all a laugh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to receive this Dance and Groove Rockit for my soon to be 2yr old daughter. When it arrived she couldn't wait to get it out of the box to play. The Rockit has four smart stage settings (0, 1, 2, and 3) so it can easily grow with your child from newborn to about 2yrs. For my daughter we set it at the highest to help her learn her ABC's. All of the lights and sounds even attracted the attention of my 4yr old daughter. By far their favorite part was getting to give Rockit a high five, which then prompted him to ask you to talk. When his face lit up red they could say anything which Rockit would then repeat in song. As a parent, one if the things I noticed that made me happy was that Rockit would  naturally go into sleep mode. And thankfully it's not one of the toys that will wake up with every slight bump, you must purposely move a switch to wake him.
While Rockit did keep them both coming back to play, it was only for a day or two. Since then he only get an occasionally "wake up" to play for about 10 minutes before my daughter moves on. I will say, I personally found Rockit VERY similar to Beatbo and Beat Bow wow, both of which my daughters already have. But they still pull those out to interact with at least once a week, I'm thinking Rockit will end up the same way. Overall, it's an interesting toy, and I'm very happy to have received it as part of a promotion to write a review. I would recommend Dance and Groove Rockit, but I think it's a best fit for the 6-12 month age range.

Occasional attention grabber

My son received this toy for Christmas and has loved it since he set eyes on it. Loves the songs and the spinning ball. Everything was perfect about this toy and it's bilingual!! No longer working, changed batteries multiple times and still not working. ... fisher price please help
