Look out, there's an asteroid headed straight for the space station! Young space enthusiasts help protect the Alpha Explorer by using the moveable projectile launcher to blast away incoming objects! When it's time to explore the depths of space, kids turn the activation disk on the base of the station to release the hose connectors and prepare the shuttle for launch. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was compensated to review this toy but my opinions are my own. I was given this toy approximately ten days ago. I waited so long to write this review because I wanted to be accurate. My four sons love this toy. It is so easy to assemble, basically you play with it right out of the package. The space ship makes fun noises when the button is depressed or it is docked. The figure even comes with a space helmet to further the adventure. This toy is wonderful for pretending you are going on a space adventure, even my eight, two, six and one year old wanted to play. They enjoyed flying and docking the station as well as refilling the spaceship. Ten days later they are still playing with this toy daily. Well made and lots of fun.

He loves preparing the shuttle for launch and blasting away any asteroids that head for the space station. There are great sound effects and he always removes Alpha's space suit when the mission is complete and hooks up the shuttle for the next adventure. The features keep him busy, this is a great toy.
As a parent, the Cosmic Chaos is a great new addition to the Imaginext line! Thank you Fisher Price!!

Great toy!

I picked this item up on a sale and I'm so very glad I did. My nearly-3-year-old is loving it! Reading through the product information, I didn't realize that it was supposed to make noises. The batteries must have run down before we purchased. Even without noises, we have had hours of entertainment. He goes down for naps asking if he can play as soon as he wakes up!

Love this!

This was a gift for my five year old space enthusiast son. The quality of this toy is excellent. It has been played with and dropped by a 3 and 5 year old without any damage. The toy talks and has multiple ways to play. My son enjoys flying the space craft around and coming back to refuel. The toy comes with one astronaut. It can be placed in several different areas to play. The Walmart price was unbeatable by many other retailers. We are very happy with our purchase.

My 3 year old loved it, I was a bit concerned he would not like since he did not seem very interested on it at the store. But he plays with it almost every day, loved the astronaut and the ship with the sounds (some say its too loud, I didn't really think so and it does turn off on its own... if not some other toy is pressing the red button).

Overall is a great toy, I do kinda wish they still made the space shuttle since I had planned on that one for my son when he was born... but this is one is pretty good.

My son who is 3 1/2 wanted a space station and I got him this Alpha Explorer and he loves it. He loves the sounds, he wants me to get more accessories that go with. a great toy for his age

I bought this toy in the store about 3 weeks ago and when I got it home and opened it, I realized the Spaceman was missing. Also, the missiles worked in the space ball, but wouldn't work in the actual spaceship. I returned that one and ordered it online. The second set had the spaceman included and all missiles work in both parts. My grandson is enjoying using his imagination with this toy and incorporating it into other stories, such as the DC Super Heroes. The spaceship makes very realistic sounds and voices. Overall, not a bad toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 boys love this toy!! I couldn't get it out of the box fast enough. They fly it around the house & pretend to be astronauts. The best part is that it's interchangeable with all their other imaginext toys. Great fun ;)
