[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are three different stages of interaction and there is a manual switch to change levels:

Level 1: Primarily about the music, colors and shapes when you push the buttons. Example, would be ?star?. The space bar plays a song. The song is basically the only thing that our girl likes to do right now. She will stand there for a long time pushing the space bar and then bobbing up and down dancing. She loves this. Her 3 year old and 5 year old brothers like it too.

Level 2: Asks for numbers and says the shapes, says the two together, i.e., ?green arrow?. Asks the child to find the color and shape of items. It will repeat the name of the item they find when they push the button. This level is used by my 3 year old grandson, who is just starting preschool. He recognizes colors and can play along without help from an adult. He likes this level and will play with it by himself.

Level 3: Asks the child questions and is more interactive for older children. This is where I think it falls a little short. Our kids know how to use an actual computer so when it tries to get them to play on this like a computer they know it is fake and don?t follow the instructions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are always trying to get their hands on my phone or laptop, just to push all the buttons. Now, they have their own laptops and love it. And, as a mom, I also love the educational aspects of this Fisher Price toy. Unlike other toys, since receiving this laptop, my girls haven't put it down.

My 5 mo old grandson liked this a lot. The buttons are easy to push. My critique is the "cheap sticky paper" for the screen. I don't think it will last long once he's a little older. Also - it gives the appearance of "buttons" on the screen - but those are not button. They are just a part of the sticky paper background. So while I do like it - I think it cheapened it.

Good and Easy to Use

I bought this smart stages laptop for my 6 month old. She likes to press the keys and is happy when she hears different sounds. But after a weeks use, it so happened that the top part of the laptop's paper is coming off.. Partly because of my baby drooling.. It was then I thought it would be a good idea to have everything in plastic rather than paper screen. Hope you guys take care of this. We put this laptop away and I am sure my baby misses this playtime toy :(

Catches my little one's attention

I'll start by saying the chair, itself, seems to be very nice.  The two star rating is from the fact that there were no screws enclosed to secure the legs to the chair.  I didn't find this out until Christmas Eve.  My 13 month old great grandson,  therefore was unable to sit in it.  His father had also bought a chair  directly from Walmart and had no problem.  I'm somewhat reluctant, now, to order anything that must be shipped - particularly UPS.   How can I get the screws for this plastic chair?

All of them are written in French and when the computer arrives, surprise, it is only in English...
