We got this for my 3-yr old for her birthday. I also have a 1-yr old and a 6-yr old. They ALL love playing with it! The pieces and parts are nice and durable and not too small. The house is a nice size and doesn't take over an entire room of the house with its size!

We gave this dollhouse to our 2 1/2 yr-old grandaughter and it was a total hit! She quickly preferred it to all of her other gifts and has been playing with it ever since. Great value as it comes with some furniture and a basic "family" + it is well constructed (no cheap plastic here)

We bought the Fisher Price My First Dollhouse for our daughter for her 2nd birthday. She hasn't stopped playing with it since we opened the box! We bought all the extra furniture and people and it fits perfectly in the house unlike what I read in other reviews.

We also bought the minivan from the Loving Family line. It works great with the My First Dollhouse family. Our daughter loves to rearrange the furniture and takes her "people" with her everywhere.

My only recommendation would be to add a baby brother and a grandfather.

This is a very durable toy that is perfect for a young toddler. The chunky people are easy to hold. It's also a great value compared to the other dollhouses on the market. I researched all the other choices and found this one best suited for young toddlers and we weren't disappointed!

My First Dollhouse

We bought this for our 2 year old daughter last year, and she still loves it. Out of all her toys, this is what she plays with the most.

The dolls and furniture are just the right size and there aren't too many pieces. Just the right amount, so that she can keep up with them.

Best Gift for her

My mom bought this adorable doll house for my almost two year old daughter for Christmas and it is perfect! Everything is the right size and easy for her to manage.

We found that all of the furniture that is available; family room, mom & dad's room, sister's room and baby's room fit just fine... as long as baby and sister share the large third floor bedroom. She also Loves the Grandma with the stroller and pink blankie!

We also bought the Loving Family SUV (from the next size up doll house from Fisher Price) and all of the My First family members fit in it just right and she loves for them to go "out"!

My 4 year old son loves to play house with her too. We just wish there was a brother to add to the house.

I am SO VERY HAPPY I bought this doll house for my 1 yr 9mo old for christmas! She LOVES it & mommy does too. Figures actually DO STAND UP & SIT UP perfect! Perfect size dont take up too much room & she plays with it for a long time even adds her little people farm animals. I HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS TOY! Well worth it ! Even my 10 yr old & 7 yr old play with it so it pleases everyone

BEST DOLL HOUSE EVER!

I have owned this toy for 6 years.
My 3 grandchildren have all played with it and continue to play with it.
They absolutely love it and so do I.
Constructed well, durable and just an all around great dollhouse.
My grandchildren and I are wondering why there is no grandpa doll?!?!
Expecting my fourth grandchild in April,sure hope you make a grandpa doll soon.

Best dollhouse ever!

My 2 year old (33 mos old) loves doll houses. She's also pretty rough on toys so I couldn't have something that was too delicate. This does the job for the most part. She's playing with it for the first time Christmas morning and she's already found that the family members don't sit well on the furniture. They slide off without being jarred. The mother falls out of the rocking chair (sold separately) and the baby tilts the cradle to one side (sold separately).

It's a good idea but the execution could have been better. The furniture should be more usable with the people. She's playing with it and enjoying it most by using her existing Little People toys. For what it is, it's worth it at this price point but don't invest heavily in the accessories for this specific products.

It's a starting point

Some places list this house as having sounds. It doesn't. It is very cheap, the craftmanship on the dolls is poor. The paint used to color the people is half smeared on their bodies. You really do get what you pay for.

As far as playing goes... my daughter does not care about the quality... she thoroughly enjoys playing with it.

Be Careful when ordering

I bought this dollhouse for my granddaughters, and they were very excited to receive this gift. They began playing with it right away and were enjoying it alot. However, within a day, the paint began to chip off the figures, and the Dad's face is almost completely gone now. They have not been rough with it, so there is really no reason why this should have happened, except that the workmanship is shoddy. I will try to call Fisher Price and see if they have better quality replacements for the dolls.
