My son keeps coming back to play with the pirate ship over and over. It is a huge hit with his friends as well. Imaginext toys are super durable and really do fire the imagination. They have the potential to be heirloom toys - toys that are worth holding on to for the next generation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sails Ahoy, this is a GREAT toy! I would recommend to anyone. This is perfect for boys and girls. Both my son and daughter play with it daily and they are almost 2 years apart in age. It keeps their attention for hours which allows me yo get things done around the house at the same time. It is so awesome to see a toy durable enough to stand the craziness of my children and very refreshing that they have something they still love to play with day after day.

Sails Ahoy, this is a GREAT toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 3 years old, and loves playing with the Imaginext Pirate Ship. It comes with 2 pirates with swords, a cannon that has 3 launchers, and the ship has many moveable pieces to keep your child occupied. My son loves shooting the cannons out of the bottom of the ship. He also loves setting up the pirates to sword fight on the back of the ship, where you simply turn the disc to make the pirates move. He also loves putting up the sails, and then putting the pirate in the circle and turning to make the sails come down again. There are similar circles to move the plank in and out, and put the anchor up and down. With all of the moving parts, this keeps my son occupied and interested. I love hearing him use his imagination as he plays, telling the pirates to "walk the plank" and sailing his ship around our living room while he makes up adventures for the pirates to go on. I also love that there is storage in the bottom of the ship for the cannons and pirates, so we can keep all of the parts together and nothing gets lost.

Great Pirate Ship

I bought the red pirate ship years ago for my grandchildren. I think I played with it as much as they did. I recently purchased the black one, so we have two. One for the grandchildren, and one for Nana!!

Nana loves playing too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love this ship! When we got this I wasn't really sure if they would like it or not as they are currently into trucks. Low and behold they played with it for two hours straight! It is a nice size. Not too big and not too small. It has wheels so kids can push it to move it around instead of trying to carry it and possibly drop it. The cannons and a big hit and the working sails made a good impression too. The only con is that it is kind of hard to put the Pirates feet in the disks. Not a big deal if mom and dad are around to help but takes a bit for my 3year old to do by himself. All in all it is a great toy!

Great toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start this off by saying my 3yo and 4yo love this toy! It has a lot of cool features. There are little disks you turn that do different things on the ship and I like that it shows them cause and effect. My 3yo has Autism and I appreciate a toy that stimulates his development. I do wish that the cannon was stationary, as it seems to bounce around when being shifted from right to left, and sometimes come off track. Therefore, not being able to properly launch missiles without being adjusted. Also, the pirates are supposed to stand on the disks, but the pegs and the holes on their feet don't quite line up. They can be manipulated to pop on but it was kind of difficult for my little ones to get the hang of it. Maybe a 5yo or 6yo wouldn't have that same problem though. All together this toy is awesome and gets played with EVERY day. If the little guys love it, I love it. Would recommend to any parent of a child with a love of pirates!

Pretty cool toy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as my 4yr old ripped open the box, he fell in love with this ship. It has a huge "wow" effect. Detail and activities are in abundance with the toy. I especially love seeing how the toy intrigues and generates creative play; not just mocking some television or movie character acting out a scene he has seen, but genuine creative play that comes right from his little mind!
The toy is made for 4-8yr olds and I have to agree, as much fun as it is, some things can be frustrating with the toy. For example, my 4yr old has found getting the figurines to stand in the designated pegs a little difficult; they are quite a tight fit. But overall he has greatly enjoyed this product!!

"Shore" to please

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pirate ship was a great, it was fun, being aable to move the ship around as it has wheels on the bottom. Came with toys to start a pirate ship battle! The pirate ship is also big and it has an anchor and the cannons were an added plus! Plank, to throw off those dirty pirates! the ship has places for other pirates as they are able to stay on without worrying about them falling so you can fight them against each other.,,

My daughter at 1 likes to turn all the little wheels to see what happens. One of few toys they share peacefully.

Well Worth It

Pirate ship opened by young boy and found parts missing. Flag for top of ship, the torpedoes for the cannons. Very poor quality control on checking that all parts are included. For this price range of toy missing parts should  not happen.
